Wow! I love how this is still relevant a decade later and doesn't sound dated.
I love this channel so much!! i'm studying risk management and i'm currently doing the PRMIA exams and those manuals that they sell are so poorly written in my opinion. They complicate things with unnecessary jargon and explanations and the true meaning of the topic is lost. These shorts videos provide such a great insight into the topic that when i reread the manual after having watched this i have a much better understanding.
Well Done!!!!! Too bad this can't be put on the nightly news.
great description ..thanks
Oversimplification brings clarity. Thanks. I like the wording “big liquidity packages”. Had this not happened perhaps Satoshi wouldn’t have unveiled btc?
You are a good teacher. Thanks!
wow, so now what's happening is that we have a credit crunch again, but this time it doesn't involve financial institutions but the whole countries and their governments right? that's scary !
great explanation thank you
You made a dry topic interesting. Thanks

Wow that's really good
Doesn't banks sign agreement with each other that bond them to a contract that dictate a certain amount of time before the issuer have to pay the principle back (plus interest)? If the payee take the loan back, won't that be consider a breach in the contract?
Thanks Robert De Niro
The year is 2023. People have only gotten worse with counterparty risk. Change is coming though.

Thank you, Sensei!!
Looks like the camera man did not have his sweets
who is the dad in this analogy?
If you take John as Company X. John's 'dad' in this case is Company X's business model, assets and other financial vehicles listed under their balance sheet.
in the real world, dad is dead
Going to much out of point
