I feel you man. My job has also become destructive to my crativity as it becomes more and more demanding. I haven't been as brave as you up to this point though, and I'm still allowing it to happen.
I think it's something that happens more often than it has been said over the years, its such a taxing, stressful place to be and I completely sympathize with creative people who feel stifled by increasing demands on the job.
