Man the book of Job is really hitting me hard. I have been trying to conceive and finally conceived in February which ended in a miscarriage. I thought that I was being punished by God because of my past sins. My mouth didn’t blame him but my heart did. My heart thought maybe he’s teaching me a lesson…but after reading the book of Job my view of this has vastly changed, I love my lord and savior and trust him whole heartedly no matter wherever he may lead me. Through the good and the bad, I will praise him and love him.
I just feel so comfort every time you say "God is where the Joy is" suddendly I feel lighter and with more energy for my day, because IT IS TRUE! God is where the joy is
I started another Bible reading plan last January 1, but the next day, I was prompted to start another. I found this on YouVersion app. And what can I say, I believe God led me to this, because the reading on the Book of Job is something I should hear and learn in this season of my life. Thank you, The Bible Recap Team, for allowing God to use you to bless others.
Even if a man lies about his involvement in something lawless, the truth is always revealed. A truly innocent man will fight for the truth til he dies. Job's anguish, heartbreak and adamant stance is very convincing. I may have been strongly inclined to belive him without the behind the scenes/beyond the veil look into the meeting in heaven.
God used Job to rescue the poor, assist the fatherless, bring joy to widows, be eyes to the blind, feet to the lame, father to the needy, and defender of the stranger. God accomplished these through Job, calls us to do the same, and can use us also in this way.
I am not sure! I picked up the study guide thinking it was both. Didn’t really pay attention. But would love love if there was a chronological Bible to go with plan.
Knowing what God loves and hates (chapter 31) is vital for friendship with God, as with any friendship. Reading this book will help my relationship of friendship with God, by his grace. I'm so thankful!
Job continues to defend his righteous living against his friends' accusations against him. He goes in to details about certain righteous acts that he has done for others.
I got stuck on the idea of Job making a covenant with his eyes so he wouldn't sin. How different would my life be if I gave more thought to all areas and put up fences where necessary?
I so glad you and your staff put video at end of pray so I don't have go back RUclips to listen. Bless you and your staff for thinking of us who do not also enjoy going back and forth
Is it possible to have a relationship with God without understanding the Bible? I am new to this plan and reading the Bible but I’ve always felt close to God even though I have no idea how things were back then. Obviously I’m trying to learn more to understand Him more. Just curious.
Of course. I believe God speaks to our hearts. This is how people still find God with out reading or being exposed to the Bible. Helen Keller once said “I always knew He was there; but I didn't know His name.” She was both blind and dead but felt drawn to God
Good morning Michelle, God certainly reveals himself and his love in different ways. Reading and studying God’s word will enrich your life and guide you in your earthly journey. Continue to take the time to read God’s amazing word❤️
My initial “relationship” with God was like an online one. I believed and prayed. That was it. When I started attending church, hearing His word preached, singing songs of praise, and reading His Word it became an in person relationship which lead to baptism and further depth that I couldn’t have imagined possible. I am saying a prayer for your journey. He must be so thrilled to have you seeking Him out.
Michelle, I was like you years ago. I was saved at the age of 37. I’d been attending church since the age of 14. During that time, I believed the scriptures but realized many years later, I never fully trusted in the saving power of Jesus Christ. After many study sessions in the book of Matthew, the HolySpirit of God came into my heart convicting me of my need to trust Jesus as my Savior. That day, May 6, 1987, I fully put y faith and trust in Him. The Holy Spirit will always help you when you’re studying your Bible. I always invite Him to help me to understand what God’s Word is saying to me.
It seems like Job is a little frustrated with God because doesn't understand why he is going through this. He said that in Chapter 30:20, "I cry out to You, but you don't answer. However, He still regards a friend because regardless of his circumstances, He still trust and have in God.

Amazing how an ancient book is so relevant for the present. Thx Lord!

Job's defense of his philanthropy reminds me of Jesus' words in Matthew 25:34-46.
Thank You Father for loving me no matter what 🙏🙏🙏

Is there an actual Bible available, with the guide included?
I am not sure! I picked up the study guide thinking it was both. Didn’t really pay attention. But would love love if there was a chronological Bible to go with plan.

I am not able to watch this years on youtube 2024- I can only find the year old ones?
I am just reading 2023 reading recap!
I don’t think there are new ones.
It is the same-not recreated every year. However, you learn something new every time.
She didn't make new ones. We have to do the 2023 ones.
Looking for day 12. I just started some weeks ago
