this can be improved by filling the watch with fluorinert. it's a special fluid for electronics. once you do that, it's basically waterproof to any arbitrary depth. beyond the press took an oil filled pulsar down to 1.8km i think. why fluorinert? it's guaranteed to not degrade any seals. i have been wearing this watch constantly and even washing it in the sink without fluorinert.
I think the pricing of this watch is really unfair. They are essentially putting same module that they use in their illuminator series. I get that the stainless steel version will be a bit costly but 3 times the cost is just unfair.
Mhmm yea, I don't think its worth it. If you are wanting the more nostalgic and retro design; along with the cheap price; I would just get the A168w. Or if you don't mind spending a bit money and want more of a modern design and feel, I would just get the GMWB5000D.
The b640wd is better. The A168 very easily either gets flipped into and out of 24 hour mode and into set time mode. You can't rely on it to actually show the time when you look down at it. I want this watch, but I'm afraid it might have the same problem. The set button on the b640wd is recessed to avoid this problem.
