To the question at the end; Yah he does. In one of the httyd comic books where the story takes place just a bit after the 2nd movie, the gang travel to an island to help the islanders solve a problem about frequent earthquakes but find the island to actually just be compose of around 5 forever wing dragons, who were waking up after some time. But all toothless, who up until now was normal, starts glowing blue at hiccups command, and the foreverwings go back to sleep. So it's not just a alpha competition powerup. It's also the dragon control state of toothless. P.S; it's worth noting that many of the dragons treat toothless as a leader without his asking, as in the beginning of the comic, when flying to the island, toothless gets a "royal escort" of seadragons that form a ring around him and swim/fly with him to the island. The blue form you are mentioning is called a Titan Wing form, and a few dragon species have it. We see a Monstrous Nightmare in such a form in one of the episodes of Race To The Edge, and it is larger, has a bigger wingspan, and extreme firepower- all displayed by extraordinary external scale coloration. Night Furies are a very unique, dangerous, and powerful species and are counted as an Alpha species. Bewilderbeasts are often the alpha species because of their natural size, ability to craft enormous habitats to guard their flock, and leadership skills combined with the hypnotic ability. Toothless took on the Titan Wing form natural to his species in order to challenge the Bewilderbeast, and pushed it to exhaustion with numerous plasma blasts. This threw off the larger dragon's focus and allowed the hypnotized dragons some time to turn on their aggressor and side with their preferred candidate. The entire army's firepower bombarded the grey Bewilderbeast into submission, and Toothless shattered one of the tusks of the Bewilderbeast. The tusks of the Bewilderbeast are a sign of dominance and power, and the loss of one of them shows weakness, that the dragon is unfit to lead. Having lost the duel, Drago's Bewilderbeast dives into the ocean and goes to the Hidden World.
Actually toothless isn’t a titanwing. Titanwings are born bigger and more powerful than other members of their species, dragons can’t become titanwings later in life. Titanwings are also a permanent thing so even if Toothless was one he wouldn’t have left the blue state after winning.

*My perspective:* *Toothless defeated the Alpha with intelligence that's the biggest weapon* *He knew when the bewilderbeast was trying to give a full strike ice blast, Toothless sped up his blast right before the bewilderbeast could release* *Toothless is a very good hearted dragon, if the bewilderbeast would not have been controlled by drago, it would have gone different, eventually he might've tried to challenge the white bewilderbeast but not like how it happened here, Toothless was fine with the first Alpha, if he wasn't put in that position to where he had to fight the grey bewilderbeast Toothless would never have became Alpha, so let's say they didn't meet, the white bewilderbeast probably would still have been alpha* *Sorry l am a fan* 😅

Nice but... My theory: in the first movie there was a dragon that was called “the queen of dragons” which was probably a female alpha dragon. When toothless defeated her, he became the alpha of dragons THEN. Then in the second movie he broke free of the bewilder beast and transformed into his alpha form because of his devotion and since in most animal species in real life, the males challenged each other for the title of “the alpha of dragons” even though he already was an alpha, and transforming into his “alpha form” strengthened that theory that toothless was already an alpha before defeating the bewilderbeast and all the dragons broke free from the control and sided with the “new alpha” because 1. The bewilderbeast broke the other dragon’s trust of protecting them 2. Toothless was the first to break control and went into his “alpha from” and 3. Toothless already freed the dragons from “the queen of dragon’s” control and saved them once before, leading toothless to win the “duel” and receiving the title “alpha of dragons”!! That is just my theory so there may be mistakes. Thank you!
I don't think so. The Red Death was referred to as "the queen of dragons" because she was the queen of that particular nest, not ALL dragons. And there cannot be multiple Alphas, so it makes no sense that Valka or Drago's Bewilderbeasts would be Alphas at any point (which they were) or that Toothless would challenge the Bewilderbeast for being the Alpha if he already was. And if he was the alpha already, the dragons should have not been so easily controlled by Drago's Bewilderbeast, nor should Drago's Bewilderbeast even try to do so. Because of Toothless's extreme desire to save Hiccup, and, more than just him, the dragons, he goes to his full potential. However, alpha is like a species leader, which should exist one at a time. And the dragons who can resist the alpha's command (charisma in Toothless' case) are younglings and challengers/candidates. Maybe we should exclude life-long trained dragons too (like Deathgrippers in HTTYD3).

Here how it works....so when Toothless unlocks that blue power doesn't mean he's an Alpha already...That blue form is when Dragons reach it's limit or should i said Titan Wing form...then when a Dragon beats a Legendary species[Alpha Species]...that dragon becomes the new alpha

I know you theorized, but I think it stems from the first movie when toothless and hiccup previously beat the original alpha of that area. In the first movie, in the end, toothless and hiccup defeat the alpha that had controlled toothless prior to meeting hiccup. I think that alpha gave Toothless alpha status before the second movie, and toothless never abused/used his powers before that moment, since it wasn't called for him to do so. I personally think that's the case, as it seems almost canonical and kinda appeared in the movie. So...Yeah. That's my theory. Haven't seen all of your vid yet, so if you say that in the vid, disregard my comment.
And his power and blue glow might have been due to being a nightfury. Think about it. Toothless is the ONLY nightfury we've seen or heard about, so maybe nightfuries have moree gifts than we know? Maybe nightfuries don't reveal everything they can do, and even in the first movie, Hiccup made it clear that nightfuries were the ONLY dragon they had so little information on.
It's sad you didn't think about looking into HTTYD 1...that movie basically answered your theory right away with hiccup and toothless beating the 1st alpha. Make no mistake. Your theory fits...but only if you look at HTTYD 2. If you take both movies as what they are, part of the same universe, then events in HTTYD 1 make the story for HTTYD 2...and I'm sad you didn't bother to mention anything from HTTYD 1...that's sometimes the problem with theories...if you only look at one movie in a series...you...fail to grasp the full concept of the series...HTTYD as a series has been about Hiccup and Toothless yes, but it's also been about a friendship that can kill dragons and change worlds. Hiccup and Toothless working together in HTTYD 1 lead to an alpha's downfall, and wouldn't that make Toothless the new alpha? It should. And therefore, wouldn't Toothless technically BE an alpha. Alpha's probably are less controllable under the alpha command, and that made it easier for Hiccup to break Toothless free. As for the surviving that, who's to say that alpha's can be hurt if they channel alpha mode? Who's to say an alpha could beat another alpha and thereby become the king, since maybe it's a thing where a dragon may have to prove his alphaness twice in order to become a king...I mean...my thought may be wrong...but at least I've been connecting events from the first movie to the second instead of just thinking solely about the second.

There's no magic in the httyd universe, so it isn't possible to teleport or mind read. The bewilderbeasts power was calls that won over the will of dragons to serve the alpha.
My theory on how toothless brought the dragons onto his side. Due to toothless’s attack speed the bewilderbeast lost concentration on control thus the dragons broke free

I think toothless went into this heightened protective sate and hicuppic's guidance helped him avoid drago's influence. He also senses that Hiccup and his own kind is in danger at that point.

I remember there was a tv show released on how to train your dragon (dont know if it still exists. It may have been deleted so the third movie makes sense). In this show there was an episode where hiccup and toothless find a new island (it was night at the time. Cant remember why) and discovered another night fury but was very much white. But the other night fury was drinking from this coloured river and toothless tried it and it gave him that blue colour on his head and back.

Not the most dangerous but one of them due to them hard to spot at night and their fast bursts and their ability to find things with making a echo wave
I thought that Toothless’s blue form was him absorbing lightning a couple years back and did not use it until he was forced to because he and Hiccup was trapped in the bewilderbeast’s ice
So just another thing, the dragons obey Toothless as an alpha because he is not forcing them to, as the Bewilderbeasts do. They obey him because of the dragons' respect to Toothless.

However, alpha is like a species leader, which should exist one at a time. And the dragons who can resist the alpha's command (charisma in Toothless' case) are younglings and challengers/candidates. Maybe we should exclude life-long trained dragons too (like Deathgrippers in HTTYD3).

I know you theorized, but I think it stems from the first movie when toothless and hiccup previously beat the original alpha of that area. In the first movie, in the end, toothless and hiccup defeat the alpha that had controlled toothless prior to meeting hiccup. I think that alpha gave Toothless alpha status before the second movie, and toothless never abused/used his powers before that moment, since it wasn't called for him to do so. I personally think that's the case, as it seems almost canonical and kinda appeared in the movie. So...Yeah. That's my theory. Haven't seen all of your vid yet, so if you say that in the vid, disregard my comment.
And his power and blue glow might have been due to being a nightfury. Think about it. Toothless is the ONLY nightfury we've seen or heard about, so maybe nightfuries have moree gifts than we know? Maybe nightfuries don't reveal everything they can do, and even in the first movie, Hiccup made it clear that nightfuries were the ONLY dragon they had so little information on.

It's sad you didn't think about looking into HTTYD 1...that movie basically answered your theory right away with hiccup and toothless beating the 1st alpha. Make no mistake. Your theory fits...but only if you look at HTTYD 2. If you take both movies as what they are, part of the same universe, then events in HTTYD 1 make the story for HTTYD 2...and I'm sad you didn't bother to mention anything from HTTYD 1...that's sometimes the problem with theories...if you only look at one movie in a series...you...fail to grasp the full concept of the series...HTTYD as a series has been about Hiccup and Toothless yes, but it's also been about a friendship that can kill dragons and change worlds. Hiccup and Toothless working together in HTTYD 1 lead to an alpha's downfall, and wouldn't that make Toothless the new alpha? It should. And therefore, wouldn't Toothless technically BE an alpha. Alpha's probably are less controllable under the alpha command, and that made it easier for Hiccup to break Toothless free. As for the surviving that, who's to say that alpha's can be hurt if they channel alpha mode? Who's to say an alpha could beat another alpha and thereby become the king, since maybe it's a thing where a dragon may have to prove his alphaness twice in order to become a king...I mean...my thought may be wrong...but at least I've been connecting events from the first movie to the second instead of just thinking solely about the second.

I remember there was a tv show released on how to train your dragon (dont know if it still exists. It may have been deleted so the third movie makes sense). In this show there was an episode where hiccup and toothless find a new island (it was night at the time. Cant remember why) and discovered another night fury but was very much white. But the other night fury was drinking from this coloured river and toothless tried it and it gave him that blue colour on his head and back.
