subway isn't even a deal compared to the competition anymore, and I'd say that was one thing they used to have going for them. I know everyone likes to rip on McDonalds for their inflated big Mac meal prices and what not, and rightfully so, but subway, at least for me, has seemed to be the most inflated over the years. Plus if you get a meatball sub from firehouse, it comes with multiple slices of cheese, big juicy meatballs, and Subway gives you 1 slice of cheese cut in half with what seems like slightly larger spaghettio meat balls, and if you were to like a cold cuts Italian sub from subway more than jersey mikes than you're taste buds are just broken. Subway just isn't it.
Capriottis is better than both.. their meatball, chicken parm, Philly cheesesteak and their thanksgiving sub (turkey, stuffing, cranberry) are better than anything Jersey mikes or firehouse has .
Both are fantastic. Firehouse has the best meatball sub IMO. Jersey Mikes has the best cheesesteaks and chicken phillies. You can’t go wrong with either.

The Firehouses in my area all are now closed crazy since it was the best chain sub shop around but I guess not enough people went there now everything is jersey mikes , Subway or Jimmie John’s
Firehouse's meatballs and reuben put Mike's to shame. They also support a very notable cause with many ways for patrons to donate. Firehouse lowkey is a bit expensive though, they got Five Guys prices, but I can sleep knowing some of what I'm paying is going to go to people in need and I'm getting quality meats. They opened one in my town like a year or two ago right next to the only Five Guys in town, I can't look at any other sandwhich place the same knowing Firehouse is the superior option. Especially with sandwhich shops being so damn expensive, Subway got rid of $5 footlongs, upped their prices and got a weird menu now, Arby's is just... gross. Not subs but like, not too many sandwhich places. Panera isn't bad, but it's also just really expensive; small portion sizes at marked up prices. Firehouse ftw
Next time get the cherry pepper relish on the mikes Italian or club. It’ll give it enough diversity that you’ll pick one because it’s different and not because it’s better.
