Jennifer, praying for you dear. I can't even imagine. Just trust that he's waiting for you in Heaven and believe me, we're so close to being raptured out of here. I really feel within weeks. I can't wait to see my momma and daddy again. Just make sure you're ready. If you don't know, please Google the Romans Road, read it , believe it and follow the instructions. If you do, you become a child of God and no one can take that away from you. Praying for you dear!

Ok Billy, you got me this time. I’ve never heard this song and I’m sitting here crying watching. This one cuts very deep. My 12 year old daughter took a jump rope at school and hung herself in April of this year because her dad walked away from her, choosing drugs and women over her. She has had the hardest time with it, wondering what she did so wrong to make him not love her anymore. Luckily, a teacher found her in time and called the school resource officer (police officer) to cut her down. By the grace of God, they saved her life and she is ok. So many are not that fortunate. I wish we as a society focused more on loving and supporting each other as opposed to bullying or attacking over body image, politics, race, etc. Thank you for putting up the suicide prevention information. You really have no clue who may need it. To anyone who may be reading this and feeling alone or suicidal, you are loved more than you know. Please reach out to someone ♥️♥️

That line “did his mom and daddy forget to say I love you son” really hits me. Before going to school every day, my parents would say “I love you”. It’s those little things, they make a world of difference. I remember when I was 14 and I got diagnosed with depression, my dad spent hours finding the best therapist for me. He understood it’s not something I can help, and he wanted me to be okay, he would pull me out of school every Monday 10 minutes early to get me to my appointment. The first time I left early, someone in class said “you going to therapy?” as a joke and I said yes, the whole class laughed at me. Thankfully, my teacher slammed his fist on his desk and said “if any of you joke about that again, you’ll be having a meeting with the principal”, and I never heard about it again.
People have your back, I’m glad mental health is taken seriously, it’s hard and at times you feel alone. You’re not alone, you’re never alone. No one wants you gone at all. You ARE loved and wanted. Don’t forget that, please don’t forget that.

As someone who has struggled with depression most of his life, and suicidal ideation for far too many years, nothing makes me happier than someone willing to discuss it openly and provide access to resources. Billy, the video by itself (without your heart) is a depressing song. I speak from experience that if you are already depressed this song can drive it deeper. I don't listen to these types of songs anymore. I clicked on here to see your reaction. You took this from sad to happy. It is so beautiful to hear someone say I care. Even though I am doing very well, I still use the tools I was taught over the years to recognize when I may need help. Thank you for your generous heart! God Bless

This was written by Rory Feek. Such a sad song. I've been in that dark place, too. But I was so good at hiding it, nobody knew. But that made it worse because I desperately wanted someone to look close enough at me to see the pain in my eyes. Someone to say "I know something is wrong. Talk to me." But they never did.

  • @mysteria_1305
    @mysteria_1305 4 года назад +4

Depression and this often go hand in hand. Bullying too! You sometimes just can’t see a brighter picture with you in it either your mind is telling you things or other people are. It doesn’t tend to make sense as to why yet you begin to believe what it is you’re hearing. After all if it is said enough it must be true, right?
At least that is my take on it.
Thankfully I have never gotten to that point. The lowest I’ve been was wondering if self harm would make me feel something I thought I was missing. Never did it just got this strange feeling around sharp objects in my wrist. I was smart enough to know that would only make things worse and would only help those nasty demon thoughts to grow stronger.
It can be hard to ask for help yet the bravest thing you can do is ask. Just ask those people who you know would help be it a stranger or someone(the people who are pushing you to be better, who truly love you) close to your heart!
    Stay strong hunz!💕💝❤️

And luckily we live in a very supportive community so a lot of people attended the funeral.. and honestly it was more sad than funerals of family members I’ve been too. The first time I became aware of suicide was when my aunt shot herself in the head ( she wanted to be with her mama who passed a year prior to cancer) I was around 11...then my cousin over dosed himself when we were in high school ... then my aunt overdosed...she was found facedown in her living room ... i had a good friend and another cousin who both took there lives last year along with my uncle ... this song for me is powerful ... suicide does not stop the pain it simply passes it on to your loved ones ... I have so many regrets and what ifs ...daily... it kills me ... I should have seen the signs ...I wonder if I could have saved them ... it's a horrible situation..my uncle hit me the hardest I was close to him.. he always had a smile on his face ...he would always say I love you ...he always made sure everyone was happy ...he hid his pain so well.. I had no clue he was hurting ... there was no red flags...I wish with everything in me that he would have reached out ...everyone deserves to feel loved and valued and that there life is worth living ...everyday and every person is a gift to be treasured

THANK YOU BILLY, WE WHO SUFFER, NEED TO HEAR THIS MESSAGE❣😘
I have almost died 2 times from suicide, both times my husband came home way earlier than expected (our kids were gone, visiting family), he found me unconscious,(2nd time I was in a coma for over a week)and the 1st responders arrived just in time. I suffer from depression, while trying to fight suicidal thoughts, all of the time...It's hard for me because I live in chronic pain, many medical conditions, and have only 1 close friend(she's so busy, that we hardly ever get to talk). Most of my family's very distant, and during the times I did try to take my life, my marriage was in a horrible place, I was lonely, and living in constant horrific pain (even though I'm on major pain, and antidepressant meds) ...afterwards, I separated from him, until he also got help, and then marriage counseling (He was a secret alcoholic, he just got his 3 year chip from AA this year, and knows that if he ever takes a drink again; He's lost his whole family). We've been married now for 24 years, and we're now in a wonderful place...even better then when we were 1st dating/early years of marriage (Before he started drinking).
I'm still fighting with my depression daily, but I'm trying to focus on the happy times (past, current, and future)...Even with my quality of life diminished, in my early 40's, now with my husband, kids, and family, paying attention to the signs...and that I'm very open about when I'm struggling. I'm starting to have hope, and don't want to take my life...but it's a constant fight for me.
I PRAY FOR EVERYONE WHO'S FIGHTING WITH THESE ISSUES, INCLUDING MYSELF...THERE IS HOPE❣🙏♾💝✌

Thank you for spreading awareness. I've had some very dark days where suicide seemed like an good idea.
Thank you for posting the way you do. Your videos always make me smile.

Bro. You seem like a good dude. I just found you and I saw your walk a little straighter song. I'm a little older than you. I had a lot of thoughts about suicide until I fell asleep and ran off of the road in 2011 and I woke up upside down on the roof of my truck. I still have thoughts about it but it's more of a what if instead of a potential to do it. You seem like you got a level head on your shoulders. This song actually came out around the time when I had a classmate kill himself. That class was so hard the rest of the year. I wasn't even really close to him but we were friends at one point. Seeing that empty desk the rest of the year was really tough... I don't know if you do a lot of country music reactions or if you have done this one yet, "what hurts the most" or "why" by Rascal Flatts are both amazing sad songs. "Three wooden crosses" I can't remember the artist Randy Travis I think. Of for a funny video "pray for you"by jaron and the long road to love

This song is one I played on repeat for a long time in 2009. From 2009 through 2012 it was the most played song by me. Lost so much in from August, 8th 2009 to may 11 2011 it had me in a dark place. Lost both my rocks in three years. But depression really has many people in very low places. It can be best but it's very, very hard. Thank you, Billy, you are an amazing young man and the world is a better place with you sharing everything you do.

Stumbled across this reaction today on my 36th Birthday and my baby brother 10 years younger than me took his life last October this song came to me instantly when he passed. Now I’m feeling guilty that I’m still here being older and he’s not.

Ive been isolated for so long, no one would notice and no one's life would change. How do you get that lonely? The darkness suffocates you.The silence suffocates you. The pain smothers you. And people do know. They just don't care, not until the day after. That is how you get that lonely.

I was 21 when my brother, crying on the phone, begged me not to make his kids, 2 daughters at the time, learn about their aunt from pictures. It was harsh feeling at the time but I needed to hear something like that. Helped put true perspective on whod miss me

Someone else wrote the song after reading it in the paper. They wanted someone younger to sing it. He was 15 at the time. When this song came out I was a young 20 something. Me and my dad cried watching the video. My dad said this song should be played in school to show people what happens to the people you leave behind.

I went to school with Blaine and he had an awesome voice. I totally forgot about this song. My brother, that was 14 months younger than me, hung him self in March 30 2017. This hits hard. Miss him so very much and wish we could've takin all his pain away.

This is a very touchy subject for me and Allison a song ive listened to thousands of times... My father who raised me until I was 12 and moved with my mom committed suicide months after my sister and I moved and it left me with so many questions and anger and guilt and I had a rough life after that cuz it made me feel as if I wasn't good enough and everyone will always leave... I still struggle with it today even after 21 years but my kids have helped me through some of the dark times and I tell them daily how much I love them and nothing will ever take me away.
