hi, I built this in our server and it works great, good job by the ccs team and nice vid of yours. Though I've run into a small issue, the golems still manage to get damaged after prolonged usage of the farm. I think some vexes were able to escape, especially one time I noticed one freely flying about before it got caught in a boat trying to hit me. I've done all the evokers in their stations with 5 boats for the 4 corners each, any idea how some could escape and how to prevent it ?
I've had two of my golems die as well, but as long as the evokers are still getting caught in the boat, you should be good. I'm not entirely sure how the golems are dying. I just assumed I did something wrong, but it could be a small flaw. I haven't noticed any long-term problems with it, though.
No, I'm pretty sure there's nothing. Snow has a special property that raiders will spawn on it, but if its floating they will fall right through it. I don't think there's any replacement whatsoever.
Hey I have been using this farm for quiet some time u can afk without changing any settings by placing a slab behind u so that u can't be knockedback by the mobs remove the trap door above to place the slab getting in nd out of the frm might be a bit difficult but after placing it I have never died also a autototem mod might be helpful I have never used it but it might help to live a bit longer side note if u r using the slab trick then do not crouch nd turn xpnocooldown on if possible hope it helps
I don't understand where I'd put the slab? The wither skeleton skull means I'm not fully on the first block, so a slab won't actually stop me from being pushed back. Without that skull, the vindicators can kill me very quickly.
Uhm idk why. But i have build it in a world ysing litematica. But i dont get a lot of pilligers, not as many as you did, actually far from that amount. And when i take the evokers, and place then inside of those things, no raids will spawn before i have killed them. Is it possible if i could sent my world download, and then you can help me. Cause im sooo lost right now?
It's likely that your composters aren't cycling properly. The movement of all three composters when your break the minecart is what "creates" a new village and causes a new raid to spawn. If that isn't working properly, you'll only get a single raid at a time. If the composters are moving properly, then there's something wrong with your villagers and you should probably replace them.
For some reason my vexs arent being picjed up in the boats and when i try to start the farm it just uses the evokers that are in minecarts and dosen't spaen anything
Your playing on java right? If yes then replace the boats and check if you build the thing that goes down in the ocean right. If it still wont work then wait for J to respond
I really want to build this farm lol. How long did it take you and AstaZora to build it on your survival world? I have little time to play nowadays so I want to see if it's worth it (I'm here for the emeralds)
It took me several days. A big part of it was dealing with the evokes. Hopefully thats made easier by using the strategy I did in the video. The farm itself only takes a few hours to build, but the rest of the setup will take some time.
@@jCraftmc Thanks for your reply! This video was really helpful, but I had one question. In CCS_Covenant's video, he was wearing no armor at all. How does he do this? I have carpet mod and thus can use the 11gt click interval (someone in the comments said slower click intervals like 20gt could let vindicators kill you.)
@@robertzhang5687 without any armor? hard to say, but I'd guess not very long. I don't know what magic CCS_Covenant used, but I've never been able to replicate anything like that despite numerous suggestions down in the comments. The problem I've seen is that you will occassionally get hit. Getting hit every once in a while isn't a very big deal (even with no armor), but it tends to knock you into a corner. Once you're in a corner, vindicators can hit you and you die very quickly no matter what the armor. The best way I've found to prevent this is with Netherite armor, which has knockback protection. It's still not 100%, but the improvement is pretty dramatic. Also note that you can eat food if you are crouching. That helps a lot, but doesn't help if you're pushed into a corner.
@@jCraftmc Dude thank you so so much! I really don't want to lose my netherite armor, so I guess I'll do what you said about using the computer with the farm in the background. I'll probably do my debate work and AFK this at the same time. Kill two birds with one stone. Also sorry for the million and one questions, but why is knockback resistance important?
@@robertzhang5687 It keeps you from being pushed in the corner. You might get hit from both directions, but when it only requires a few hits to knock you in the corner, it's fairly easy for you to randomly get hit 3 times in a row from one side. Say you increase that number to 6 (not sure what the exact numbers are, its kind of random). It's much harder to get hit that number of times in a row. The more knockback resistance you have, the more likely you are to stay in the center and not get knocked to a side.
When I’m using this farm in the world download to try to learn more about it, the minecarts stop reappearing on the rail after a short time and then I don’t know how to fix it. Also some sugar gets in the minecart hopper.
Um so I don't have access to those many emeralds and all. So is it possible I build another item sorter for this like a 1x or 2x one. Ik it won't be able to keep up with the items so I can keep it in a loop. So is it possible I design my own sorting system for the farm instead of the sorting system and shulker box loaders used in this. Thanks.
I wouldn't do a loop. You need to get the items out of the world as quickly as possible, which means you need to destroy anything that reaches the end of your sorters. If you did a loop, you would very quickly lag out your server. But yes, you could definitely make a custom sorter/loader setup.
What happens if i dont make the base one block away from the chunk border on the south and east side? I may have not realized after built the top platform…
Hello, simple curiosity from me, why do you need this specific chunk alignement/position to have the farm running properly? Is that something with the raid spawning calculations? Very good video by the way
I'm not sure the exact reason, but yes its because of the spawning calculations. If built in the wrong place, I don't believe they actually spawn at all.
@@jCraftmc just asked to another Guy actually so i can answer: it's because the point chosen to be the center of a raid is always the centre of the chunk, and the raiders will spawn around it. So if it's accros several chunks it will struggle to summon all of them
i downloaded the world download to do a bit of a test drive on 1.16.4 because im planning on building this on an smp in the future. rates were cut down by a lot from the named 227k per hour, with about 10300 emeralds for semi-afking it for 54 minutes. although a lot of these are probably from looking inside the farm, making it around 30 minutes of semi afking, its still a lot less than i was expecting. any notable changed between 1.16.1 and 1.16.4? are there any changes i need to make to how i afk it (i triggered 182 raids in that time frame)?
10k emeralds seems really low. I've never really counted the number of raids, but that seems wrong. I dont think I've ever gotten the advertised rates, but I'm pretty sure I get somewhere in the range of 50-100k emeralds/hr. One thing I know is that I get about 4 shulkers of redstone/hr... If you're only getting slightly more emeralds than I am rsdstone, then I think something's wrong. I dont think its the version.
as of now i guess i'll assume its an issue with how i afk it; since it was kind of also me getting a feel for the farm i wasnt there for a lot of the time just swinging. i guess i'll plan to do a full afk test this weekend. extra question, if you dont mind: if i'm just testing the world download (the smp isnt up yet) should i clear the shulkers with emeralds already in them in the middle of the sorting system?
Alright, nevermind, it's fixed. I properly afked it this time around and im considering putting item burners; it causes a lot of lag and from 15 minutes already produced 29k emeralds
built the farm and it worked a couple times, now the raid bar just appears, then says 2 enemies remaining and then disappears and no mobs spawn. any fix?
Check to make sure all 3 of the composters are moving when you hit the minecart. It's common to have redstone issues there. If all three of them are moving, replace the villagers.
Hey, 1 minute after I started hitting the minecart all the riders died, I tried lowering the attack period, but still didn't work, what am I doing wrong?
It should be starting new raids. Check your villager cells. Make sure they're in the right place. Make sure the composters and moving whne you hit the minecart. Make sure you've never traded with them (if you remove the composrers, they should revert to having to trade)
Either the redstone isn't working or there's something wrong with your villagers. When you hit the minecart, all of the composters should shift position if the redstone is working properly. If all that is working, replace your villagers and make sure you've never traded with them.
If you're running over TPS, it's going to hurt your rates. If you're not attacking at interval 11, it's going to hurt your rates. I've found it to still be quite fast despite this, but if your computer/server can't handle the farm, the rates are going to drop some. You can try using the Lithium mod.
The villages might not cycle properly and you'll end up with a single raid at a time rather that multiple stacked raid. It would hurt the rates immensely.
The farm is kind of intimidating for me. How difficult is it to build on a scale of 1-10 for a beginner to intermediate technical minecraft player. For reference, I've built a perimeter and Gnembon's 600 block p/h gold farm.
I think so. I would definitely test it beforehand, though. And all of the other requirements must be met. It has to be chunk-aligned and there can't be anywhere else around it that raids can spawn on.
I built this farm up today, and whenever i spawn in a raid, it spawns in a few waves, but then just stops. Please help!!! (p.s none of the villigers have been traded with) Edit: also, when they do spawn in, they only spawn in on one side of the farm.
@@jCraftmc yep, all of them are, idk why but I tried it a few times this morning, and the raid doesn’t end, but they only spawn 1 level at a time and only on one side of the farm, so the rates are really slow :(

I can't make the floating snow on the server I play on, is there anything I can substitute it with?
@@jCraftmc I think he meant wall, I used a wall and it seemed to work
what if you add some signs somewhere to avoid water flowing down and updating the snow?
thank you for the tutorial! does this work on paper servers?
Can you avoid getting pushed back somehow? after a little while i always get pusehd back and need to reposition myself to hit the minecart
Hi! I wanted to ask where can i find the full ccs istrucion video?
Does anyone know if i can do a compketely different storage system?
@@jCraftmc okay, i will check that out. Great chanel, im subscribing right now!
@@floris8477 k thanks
Will this work well on a Realm, and will it matter if I'm using fabric?
Will work, high chance that it will cause a lot of lag though
When I’m using this farm in the world download to try to learn more about it, the minecarts stop reappearing on the rail after a short time and then I don’t know how to fix it. Also some sugar gets in the minecart hopper.
You most likely broke some of the redstone around that area.
how do you use fill with litematica.
@@jCraftmc ohk. Thanks. Would a 4x item sorter be able to catch most of the items?
What happens if i dont make the base one block away from the chunk border on the south and east side? I may have not realized after built the top platform…
@@scandalouspanda7489 sorry no i did not figure it out. i had to destroy it all and rebild it again
Is the snow flakes necessary? Where are the common ones?
Would I be able to build it in the spawn area (loaded chunks) rather then making a chunk loader?
I dont think you want to do that. It just doesn't seem like a good idea.
No don't, that's not how it works + the mobs won't spawn but be forever loaded
I properly afked it this time around and im considering putting item burners; it causes a lot of lag and from 15 minutes already produced 29k emeralds
built the farm and it worked a couple times, now the raid bar just appears, then says 2 enemies remaining and then disappears and no mobs spawn. any fix?
Same

@@holderman1206 Check to make sure your composters are cycling.
@@jCraftmc Just found out that the oak leaf was missing after a creeper explosion...
At least now it works!
What did you use to show you what blocks to place where?
Litematica.
@@jCraftmc Thanks:)
what do you do if the raid stops after you hit minecart
ive check everything i can think of
Check to make sure all 3 of the composters are moving when you hit the minecart. It's common to have redstone issues there. If all three of them are moving, replace the villagers.
@@jCraftmc thx its working now
Hey, 1 minute after I started hitting the minecart all the riders died, I tried lowering the attack period, but still didn't work, what am I doing wrong?
It should be starting new raids. Check your villager cells. Make sure they're in the right place. Make sure the composters and moving whne you hit the minecart. Make sure you've never traded with them (if you remove the composrers, they should revert to having to trade)
Ok when I cycle the minecart the raid stops anyone had this issue and know how to fix it?
Either the redstone isn't working or there's something wrong with your villagers. When you hit the minecart, all of the composters should shift position if the redstone is working properly. If all that is working, replace your villagers and make sure you've never traded with them.
Underrated u tuber
This farm does not seem to work properly on spigot. It spawns very few raiders. Any idea why and if theres a config or modification that might fix it?
Unfortunately, I can't support spigot. I don't use it and there are too many settings involved that may or may not have an impact.
@@jCraftmc i fixed it turns out i just had it set to easy. Still thanks
I know litematica is very useful, but do you need it to build the farm because im on a vanilla hardcore world
You could try to follow the world download, but litematica is by far the easiest way.
@@jCraftmc ok
Could u do something like this for the 1.18 version please with storage
i built mine but its not as fast what could be the reason?
If you're running over TPS, it's going to hurt your rates. If you're not attacking at interval 11, it's going to hurt your rates. I've found it to still be quite fast despite this, but if your computer/server can't handle the farm, the rates are going to drop some. You can try using the Lithium mod.

Floating snow works fine in 1.17
TE AMOOOO
Do I have to change anything for 1.16.5? Or is it 100% working
100% still working
what happens if i build this farm in bad position?
The villages might not cycle properly and you'll end up with a single raid at a time rather that multiple stacked raid. It would hurt the rates immensely.
The farm is kind of intimidating for me. How difficult is it to build on a scale of 1-10 for a beginner to intermediate technical minecraft player. For reference, I've built a perimeter and Gnembon's 600 block p/h gold farm.
8. Definitely doable, but far from trivial.
@@jCraftmc Thanks for the reply. I'll probably work my way up to this farm.
Is there a way to make it not use the nether?
You could possibly do some sort of lava setup up at the top like other raid farms do, but it would likely slow down the rates.

What are the redstone rates?
I think this channel is undar rated too. I have a question, can I build that farm in the end?
I think so. I would definitely test it beforehand, though. And all of the other requirements must be met. It has to be chunk-aligned and there can't be anywhere else around it that raids can spawn on.
@@jCraftmc thanks, but i just noticed that nether portals cannot be made in the end
