Wow, thank you for all these helpful information especially with the measuring! I am mostly curious about the technique: some creators I've watched place the flowers/fillers in the mold before pouring any resin, but some of them (you for example!) pour an amount of resin first before placing the fillers. I guess it's also a matter of trial and error to discover which technique works best 😅 I cannot wait for the rest of my materials to arrive so I can start this new hobby! You've been a great help and inspiration to a lot of people, I pray for your business' continued success! Stay safe! 🌸
I have seen that way as well. But I have learned by watching its best to fill your mold slightly then add flowers, etc that will it will stop them from floating. Alot of ppl suggest doing it in layers also..

I decided that I'll let my 10yr old start her own business and we decided on resin keychain and jewellery, so I've been doing my research on RUclips and I much say I find your video very helpful can I ask for the measurements for the placement card and what software you use to create it.
Once the resin is cured can it be disposed of in the trash? Also, if you don’t have digital scales what are other ways you can measure the resin & hardener? Thankyou so much for this video, I’m just starting out and this is SO helpful!! ❤️🦋✨

A lot of good information but I have one little suggestion.Never use an open flame or a torch unless it’s a very deep batch of resin and never get close to the mold u can fuse ur silicone molds and the resin together. I’ve never done it simply because I use a heat gun. Which is the best and safest way all around. I bought my heat gun at harbor freight for $16 so it was well worth it. It has 2 setting I usually use the low one but if I’m trying to move the resin around to make certain effects then I will switch to high but be careful and make sure u don’t put it down on anything plastic it could melt it or atleast the end piece is.

Hello! May I ask why you pour the resin first before the hardener? I saw the jspencer tutorial video and they said that the key is to pour hardener first before the resin. Is there any difference with what you pour first? Ty in advance! 😁
I think both ways will have the same results since you'll need to mix them anyway. 🤗

You can leave it for 24 hrs to cure completely 😊
I have a question.. we have to wear respirator and etc. while doing the resin art.. and after we finished.. we have to wait at least one day to let it cure right ? while it curing, is it ok when we don't wear the respirator ?

Prescription glasses won't give you enough protection. I think there are a lot of safety glasses that can be worn on top of prescription glasses :)

i read somewhere that n95 is only good for dust particles, not for gaseous residues from epoxy. To avoid burning the cilia from our lungs, i think a respirator is a must.

Is UV resin more safer than Epoxy resin? Because I don't really see you using gloves when using UV resin
Both of them are not safe. Sometimes i forget to use gloves when using uv resin because you don't need to mix two liquids anymore. It's very easy to use compared to epoxy resin 😅

After pouring the mixed resin I to the mould , why are you heating it up by a lighter ?
To pop the air bubbles that come on the surface

Also recommendation po bakit po kaya biglang nagbendy yung last works ko? Nakagawa naman na po ako around 5 before then yung mga bago bendy na sila same procedures lang din naman ang ginawa ko
Let the mixture sit for about 2-3 minutes before pouring into the molds. And you'll see the bubbles will slowly pop on their own. While using an igniter, make sure not to put the flame very close to the mold.

Your 'respirator' looks like nothing more an a dust mask. Those aren't organic vapor filters, are they?

better not risk it as epoxy resins will cause you respiratory problems.
