    Beautiful pen. I would love to make one. However I don't have equipment. That's okay, it's still great to watch and learn. Well done!!

      I saw someone made a rudimentary lathe with an electric screwdriver. If you don't mind spending the time to make one, you can have your own lathe too. Not powerful but enough for simple wood turning.

    That is a truly inspired piece of work there. it must make you feel very blessed. I bet you are sometime amazed at what you can come up with. I know i am, and I thank God for my creativity. Most people can not think creatively, and we who can should give thanks for it. I love it that you can share so much. Thank you.

    When I use micro mesh, dipping it in some water before sanding helps me get a better finish. The pen looks amazing, I would make one if only I had a vacuum chamber😯. Great job

    Hi. I just watched your DIY video on creating your own personal epoxy resin pen. I plan on giving it a shot myself, so I want to be sure to get it right the first time. It's hard to tell in your close ups, but we're there any visible micro bubbles or voids of any kind? I don't have a pressurized pot or container, so I would have to make one to complete this. I can probably make a small one.
    Anyhow, great video! Great result! Cheers!

    Your creative mind-set must give you so much satisfaction; you seem to enjoy playing out your concepts until the finished product. How many did you make? Good for you for retaining the scraps of woods from other projects! Just look what resulted! : )

    Great job. I leave the resin under pressure for 48 hours. That might help solidify your blank. Just a thought.

    • @SpecificLove7
      @SpecificLove7  5 лет назад

      At this point I am not selling them, but maybe in the future. With the time and parts needed, the cost will be high.

    How do you stop the wood from floating up?

  • @BlessedLaymanNC
    @BlessedLaymanNC 5 лет назад

    That looks like a recipe for many splinters in the hand, LOL
    It looks great. But it got me to thinking, is there something similar you could do with sawdust? Not particularly mixing the woods, but blending the sawdust with the resin?
    For example, would mixing a lot of Purple Heart sawdust into the resin make a good pen blank?

      @SpecificLove7  5 лет назад +1

      I'm not exactly sure, but my wife is thinking about trying to use walnut shavings from the lathe in some resin.

      Specific Love Creations OH wow, well I have about 10-15 pens (they were free) and I know of thousands of these pens that look exactly like these, that’s crazy. They even used the gold like you do and the the gold portions look the same too. I love the pens I have, they’re amazing so awesome job! I love the pen you made here as well, very creative.
