Nice story mate and it’s great to hear all the hard work you put in to get where you’re at. My wife and I have just started to collect Lego. We both had tubs full from when we were kids, but recently I was able to convince her of the joy of building larger set. Luckily our Lego addiction started during Toy Sales here in Australia so we’ve been able to buy a lot of sets on special and just store them to build into the future. Love your positive attitude on life. Keep up the great work and I look forward to viewing more of your videos😀👍

I too started working at 13, I'm 20 years old now and I own a small cafe and a small high-rise building which I rent out, Moved out and quit school at 16 and stopped working last year. No regrets.

Costco have some great deals on occasionally with various (and random) sets - Landrover Discovery, Bonsai tree, Ghostbusters Car, etc - so it pays to keep your eyes peeled if you're already a member.
The D11 bulldozer I recently bought from Costco was £60 cheaper than the Lego store

I live in a student town in south Alberta here, the local pawn shops and buy and sell groups get filled with perfectly fine, collectable and rare childhood treasures. So as they go and make regrets to get some drinking money I come across Captain Rex for cheap, Simpson theme sets and tons of bulk unknowns for super duper cheap.

Amazing story. Very encouraging to hear in detail how you did it. People should live and learn from your methods, smart and sensible. And hard work! My introduction to bricksie came because I can see Lego spending increasing and wondered how other people do it, so I was curious to his methods. Great content.

Bricksie has showed us that he worked hard for his legos which is extremely respectable. I work hard to babysit and every now and then I get a LEGO set for my brother and I. So you can accomplish anything if you work hard for it 😋.

Great video! Brave to put yourself out there. I started making Lego videos a year ago. I've found that if you buy used locally and build, video and resell there is almost no cost. It's almost like a library check out system but you maintain your virtual RUclips collection.

I got a lego colusseum this year for £200, from the lego store. If you cant afford big sets then buy VIP, you get points to discount sets. I used around 20k points, which i collected over the years

If you’re wanting to expand your collection as well, I check local marketplaces for job lots of Lego. Looking for models to build up and resell and get to keep the remaining pieces to make MOCs etc

Stumbled on your channel today and did ask myself "wow.. how has he done this?" - then yt suggested the answer 😂 Well done, I can appreciate the hard work, having also worked from a young age. You leveraged your labour and are now living the dream. Congrats from Australia!
