Always a great pleasure to watch your tutorials Mark and learn from them:) that’s why I share them always with my group so we can all improve our skills and help infinite flight offering a professional experience to all of us;-)//ronny
Great video! I know there are some people contacting me on instagram on how to fix the rocking up and down motion of the A321. I was wondering if you could do a tutorial series on the A321?
Unfortunately we had to remove this feature temporarily as it was 'hogging' a lot of RAM on the devices. We do hope to be able to add again in the future but we have a lot more optimizing to go.
As a 1st ver we have decided to stream our terrain which uses very little data. In the future it is our desire and plan to support offline gameplay or even the ability to download scenery for “on the go” use. Our ultimate goal is to allow for a versatile experience which allows customers to enjoy Infinite Flight both on and offline.
Seeing the US is the only country large that uses lbs in aviation, is it possible to stop using lbs in tutorials and stick to the standard kg's. We all know what has happened when planes use lbs instead of Kilograms
Hey mark, I recently tried to start a flight with the the CRJ-900. I followed the tutorial and everything you suggested but I can’t get seem to rotate at around 140 knots I try and pull gently up but instead the nose stays down until around 145 - 150 knots and then it shoots up causing for a very off balanced take off. I also can’t seem to gain speed at all when climbing. If you know of a solution, it would be much appreciated!
Thank you for the comment. Make sure that you do calibrate when adjusting the weight, but also to increase the trim to +60% for takeoff. You start to pull back pressure (tilt back on your device) around 140-145 kts. Ideally you want the main gear to be off the ground around 155-160 kts. If flying at heavier weights, it is not uncommon to use 20º of flaps instead of 8º. Hope this helps!
Mark, I've a query regarding the AGL and MSL. If both are varying from each other by or more than 1000ft, how to land safely with such jumbo jets? Please help me out...
MSL is your altitude above sea level. Field elevations are given in MSL. AGL is your altitude above the ground. For example, if the field elevation of an airport is 2000 ft (MSL), this is what your altimeter will show. So when you are at the end of the "approach cone", ideally you want to be about 2500-3000 ft above the ground which will be 4500-5000 ft (MSL). You can show the AGL on the UI strip at the bottom of the screen.
Trim will vary during the flight. The goal is to trim the aircraft until the magenta line on the trim button is gone. When it is trimmed properly, this will also increase your fuel efficiency. For example, though 50%-60% trim is used on the CRJs for takeoff and landing, usually in flight will adjust the trim to around 20%-25%. - MD
Thx for the update I have a problem where all the aircraft says pro subscription only even on the ones that cost 4.99 but now the all say pro subscription required or is that normal or a glitch?
Aircraft are no longer available as in-app purchases and all of them are unlocked with a Pro subscription. In-App purchases are our, and most developers, largest source of support ticket. Maintaining IAPs across multiple devices, and countries can be labor intensive and problematic for the customer. By not having IAP aircraft we can better control the aircraft quality, reworking, removing, and adding models as necessary without inconveniencing you. We made these changes as it greatly simplifies our process to release new content on both Android and iOS, even allowing us to release new aircraft without requiring an app update. It also allows us to allocate more resources to update older aircraft. We understand that subs aren't for everyone. Subs are still not mandatory to enjoy the sim.
We have a system in place that allows all users to be heard and for features to be tracked. To support an existing feature request or make a new one, please join our Community Forum, community.infinite-flight.com/c/features .
Unfortunately, if you do not see the update available, your device may not be compatible or meet the minimum device requirements. Please visit community.infinite-flight.com and search for "Minimum Device Requirements" on our Community Forum.
Infinite Flight Ah ok. But on the CRJ900 which I flew for around 1000 hours the power is set by putting the throttles into the TOGA Takeoff and Go Around detent, not necessarily a power percentage.
Correct, but unfortunately for now, we do not have the other factors implemented in the sim just yet. For simplicity purposes, we use N1 %. We may add more of the factors in the future but not sure when.
We understand that subscriptions are not for everyone, which is why we have made the Pro subscription an optional purchase only. It is in no way mandatory to enjoy Infinite Flight.
Yes mark!
Saw you editing on Instagram
Good video
WOW the CRJ-900 i love this
very helpful tutorial!!!!!
....will you add wingflex to the 737?
MarEpor Yes, they want to bring all the aircraft to the same level (in terms of details, animations, etc.). But it will take some time :)
MarEpor that would be awesome if they did!
I hope
Eventually wing flex will be available on all applicable aircraft.
Infinite Flight that is good to hear
Can you guys add the wobbling effect (sorry I forgot what it was called) that planes get on Taxing?
It’s called ”wingflex” and it’s already on several aircrafts like the MD-11, DC-10, 787, A320 family and the CRJ.
It’s the wings flexing on rough taxiways it’s bumpy so it makes the wings bounce up and down
That is because of the pavement
Navy Hornet-YT I would really like to see that added to Infinite Flight.
Navy Hornet-YT wing flex
Thanks

That's my passion 😍
I also have a question. How do you get the map to change to where you see the actual ground and water boundaries?
Navy Hornet-YT yeah I really miss the old map that showed elevation and much more exact coastlines
It’s not available anymore
Navy Hornet-YT Just edit it

I was going to get a subscription but an update this year made the game wifi only and a lot more laggy so i just use the Aer Lingus a321-200

But nice work

This can be changed within the app and can easily be converted. Information that we receive is in pounds which is why we use it for our tutorials.

Infinite Flight Thanks, I’ll definitely try this out, I am getting better at it and I’ll keep getting better!

How do you put this small camera instead of the map its between the throttle and the radar
This is done during post editing with a third party video editing software.
NOICE
So you always keep trim in whole flight?
Trim will vary during the flight. The goal is to trim the aircraft until the magenta line on the trim button is gone. When it is trimmed properly, this will also increase your fuel efficiency. Why I can’t fly on this plane in version 18.06.0. I’m so excited. But earlier I can fly on this type, when was version 18.05.0 😔
Hey there. The CRJ-200 has always been free and still is. The -900 was added as part of our Pro subscription. -JR
What's the code for this airport
CRJ900 in IFS ?
Yes, it is.
Bae 146 would be great to add and the 727

Was this for a simulator ?
This is for the mobile flight sim, Infinite Flight. It is available in the App Store for iOS or on the Play Store for Android.
Yes, for Infinite Flight which can be found on the App Store for iOS and the Play Store for Android.

how can you change the map for the camera?
Check out our tutorial "Intro to Infinite Flight Part 1" for more information about the map and user interface.
Can you make it free pls? I’m sure it people would like the app even more
👍👍👍✌✌✌
this doesnt work at all
Love to but it’s too much money
