    02:48 Wow, this really hits home! 🙌 The idea that the quarter-life crisis is not just a phase but an opportunity to live a more fulfilling life is such a powerful shift in perspective. Thank you for reframing this challenging time as something that can lead to incredible growth! 🌱

    Mid-life crises were seemingly most common among the so-called Silent Generation. I understand that such things are cyclical in nature.

      I only read the last three words and thought that your cure for the crisis was to cycle in the woods

    • @jareduxr
      @jareduxr Месяц назад +1

      Mid life crisis is really a complex layering of issues that have little to due with cycles of time and more with behavior. Number one you are just going through life with that seemingly blank check on time while doing the same thing over and over for 20 years. All the other points in your life there were changes so it tends to feel like a well worn rut. At the same time, that feeling of “I will get to that someday” runs out as you see signs of aging in both you and your parents.

    At 27, you're just starting out in life. Speaking from the perspective of the previous generation (I'm 35), I didn't grow up with social media affecting my mental health the way it does now. It seems like many Gen Z people struggle with developing social skills because they're often immersed in their mobile phones.
    Life is filled with ups and downs. Many people experience failures, such as companies not working out, but they pick themselves up and try again. If someone sees their first failure as a 'crisis,' it may suggest they’re not fully prepared for the challenges of running their own business. Learning from failure is a crucial part of success.

  • @krishan904

    Biggest problem with gen z ,like me they have less social connections. So in problem they turn to mobile or internet not to people. Earlier time like millennials they have lot of social connections. They talk with their colleagues, family friends daily and spend good time not like us alone in room with internet.
    Practice gratitude,respect people and try to make first move to reach people

    quarter-life crisis is just a lack of appreciation of what you have and done. If you have the mentality to think is this what I will do my rest of my life? Is this job what I want to do? you are asking the wrong question. You are just victimizing yourself. Fist be proud of all the things you have achieved even if is finishing high school of college. If you have job and you live by yourself or help you parents. then you are doing great. See the real important things of your life and stop comparing your life with others from real or social media.

      that’s not the point of his message. we are ever changing beings that don’t have to be satisfied with where we are currently at. he’s saying that you have the ability to do anything and change anything. it’s a freeing message. i guarantee most people are not 100% satisfied with their current job or circumstances but you have the opportunity to change, learn, and try new things. i hate the mindset that you have to accept your life as it currently is and appreciate it and leave it at that.

    What is wrong with super privileged people? New term "Quarter Life crisis". Ordering furniture for a new rented home is stress, having to cook your own food is depressing, if you have to work hard towards achieving something, you start having suicidal thoughts. Unnecessarily being soft and craving acceptance for this unnecessary softness.
    Live life in normal way. There's no finding, creating, etc. Just do your work, contribute to society in whatever manner you can and stop whining about every little thing as if the sky is falling upon you.

      what a limited view of life you must have

    • @anonymousblogger6960
      @anonymousblogger6960 Месяц назад

      @@AEEZProductions I don't think defining a life view as "broad-minded" is any helpful when every small thing in such a life view ends up stressing, depressing, resulting in suicidal thoughts, etc. From such a life, having a so called "limited" life view (as you perceive it) is much better where in we are focused on living the life as it comes as opposed to finding faults in situation and constantly demanding extraneous care from the ecosystem.

    The TED has really gone downhill. The presenters are digging deep into what the well that they think is relevant. When they actually pull out is mundane topics that are nothing new or grand. This belief that any particular groups experience is new and unique. Quit wasting our time with your self obsession.
