I don't know how it didn't occur to me to look at the manual, thank you very much for reminding me that that's why they exist xD. You literally saved me, I got a little nervous because it didn't work and it came with a broken disc the size of one of the Gamecube ones.

you have two DP connectors.. they are literally called DISPLAY PORTS aka DP.. You just need monitors with those types of connectors or get a displayport to HDMI adapter..
what if i download the drive on a different pc, can i still use it on another pc as long as it’s the same drive like windows 10?

Only issue for me is that my second monitor only shows the same screen and my computer wont detect has a separate monitor only as the same monitor like its just displays the same screen, It wont let me extend my screen
hey , i`m tryiing to use dual monitor in my laptop (lenovo gaming 3) so I have one HDMI port from in my laptop and I bought a USB to HDMI to have the second monitor - but someone, they are not working together - if I plug the HDMI, then the adapter stops working.
Why i`m using a USB to HDMI instead of usb-c docking? My usb-c does not support / convert display, only data.

They are as good as if not better than HDMI

Agreed, I'm 99% sure using one of the two displayport connectors to the left of the 15 pin VGA port using a "Displayport to VGA" adapter would have been a better and cheaper route assuming you don't need resolution higher than 1920x1200 or whatever the limit for VGA connections are. It's also possible that if you need a higher screen resolution, you might be better off with a "Displayport to HDMI" adapter however I personally have not used such an adapter.i think this whole USB to HDMI/DVI/VGA stuff is folly when you already have Displayport on the motherboard. Lastly, you really need to list the models of the computer and monitor etc if you are going to make videos. Not doing so is like asking for car repair advice without knowing what car you own. Btw, I've worked in I.T. since 2000 (including 3 years of profesessional computer repair).
they are better... You need DP Display port for monitors to communicate back to your computer.. This is the only way to go above 60hz for gaming or advanced graphics.. They need to sync over data...

I have the same adapter for my second monitor but it wont let me put the second monitor in portrait mode, It just stays in landscape mode but zooms background in a bit any help would be much appreciated
in the manual it says that it doesn't support portrait mode

@@tactical_toby9884 No I don't maybe look up for a adaprer that supports it or usb c to hdmi if you have thunderbolt usb c(usb c is thunderbolt when there is lightning next to port)

I've done everything so far as you said on the video, but it still doesn't work. It apparently has a problem due to my computer not having the latest Windows update, (I have Windows 10 and not the 11) is it somehow related or should I be able to have my screen duplicated just fine ? So far the only thing I've been able to do, was to move my computer screen to another but not duplicating it, please help me.

Hopefully this will help you. Right click on your desktop and then click on 'display settings'.
You should see boxes with numbers 1 and 2 in them.
Scroll down until you see the heading that says 'multiple displays' and then there is a drop-down menu where you can select what you want your monitors to do.
You can select your options there whether you want to extend your displays duplicate them or select an individual display.

Some people are having issues with the drivers not loading and I would suggest trying a different USB port.
If it doesn't load let me know which operating system you have and I can send it to you.

does it work for chromebook
At the present time it may not work with chromebooks. I have a windows 10 computer and I plugged it into the usb 3.0 port and it works fine. I believe in the information that came with the device it states not recommended for chromebooks or Mac devices.
