Thank you for this valuable information. I had a fungal infection on my feet and had to take the oral medication. Although the infection is gone, I had some side effects on which I wanted information. Great video!
@@jordanwillis1576 The infection cleared up within couple weeks after I took the oral medication, but at the same time I also soaked my feet in vinegar, tea tree oil and epson salt every day for twenty to thirty minutes. I treated the infection from the inside and outside, so I am not sure how long just the medication alone would have cleared it up.
My doctor just looked at my toes no test and put me on pulses. Take for seven days once a month for three months. I'm so annoyed because I think he is down playing my fungus because it's not as bad as others but my baby toe is completely infected and one of my big toes is discolored. I'm dark skin so he treating me like it normal. But ... I'mma take it every day regardless of what he says and check my liver regularly. He didn't even check my liver. He is not serious. I went to my primary care and told her I've been prescribed the medication and she is monitoring me...When my prescription runs out, I'll just get more and continue treatment, I'll be damn if he leaves me with the infection
Did you use the topical cream? And what was your experience like? Ive had horrible experience with lamisil oral pills. But lamisil is great for fungal infections. I want to try it topical as long as it doesn’t damage my liver of course
First week taking this drug and I fell like I have a fever/ diarrhea/ fatigue like a flu… very strong drug. I’m taking a day off because I had to leave work…
I had a really bad experience with taking oral lamisil. I did it for 6 weeks I thought I was to die. It really messed up my stomach for a long time actually my stomach is not the same anymore..I think I actually got gastritis because of it. I have a difficult time tolerating acidic foods and I can not drink alcohol it will land me at the emergency room. I will say this though Lamisil/terbinafine is very effective for fungal infections. So here is my question..Can I use it safely in a CREAM topical form? Or does the CREAM also contribute to intestinal and liver problems?
I'm on week three of the oral lamisil, just had a resurgence after it felt like it was getting better, but I had to stop using the terbinafine cream bc i was using it 3-4 times a day and it ended up causing burns basically, so the cream can help if, just make sure you only use it twice a day and judiciously.

How long did it take for it to clear up

Put oregano essential oil on it twice a day. Rub a few drops into the nailbed. Let it air dry for a few minutes. Several months, but it works.

It is best to take as prescribed only
Whats more effective cream or pills?
I been on it for 3 months. I've been having back pain like it could be my kidneys
Awesome video and very helpful. Off topic, why does your eye do that when you speak??
What about the Lamisol topical cream? Are there also side effects?

Hello, What to do when Terbinafine hasn't worked for Jock Itch after an 8 week course?
Thank you
