2.5 Ton 16 seer Not 5 Tons manufactured in 2018
It looks like that Makita has adjustments for the amount of twisting force on the battery itself. Speeds are usually 4 speeds on the trigger. It's all in the owners manual. Nice that someone sent that to you 18v is a good middle of the road model.
Shut the F up constantly complaining about it being a hack job. Fix it and shut the F up or tell the owner you are not going to do it, but shut the F up complaining already like a B…
Yer truck’s doin the flippin funky chicken! Those Massachusetts roads are a shit show mama!
It's a 2 1/2 Ton 16SEER Goodman, Looks big because it's 16 SEER
I think the 2.5 ton only comes charged with 80 some ounces of refrigerant, so depending upon line length, there was virtually no refrigerant in the system. So, if leak not addressed, then???
Hi Steve that unit was not a 5 ton until it's a Goodman 16 SEER 2.5 Ton unit that matches the inside gas furnace like you Said why's that coil door not accessible ?? maybe there's a reason maybe not, great video Steve. It's getting time for calls for heating problems and service calls. Have a great weekend.
17:46 look at the brazing on that first expanded fitting coming out of the system on the suction side, you can literally see holes where there's like no braze or hardly any.
Goodman 80,000 btu furnace won't have a 5 ton drive blower, hack job for sure Steve
Wouldn’t have enough cfm at the blower motor
It is a 2.5 ton 16 seer Condenser not 5 ton
Thanks for the video, Steve. Stay safe out there man.
I always tell customers before pumping a ton of Gas N bc when that shit leaks out they gonna be pissed so when i find em this low. i walk away. aint gassen en up and getting yelled at in 3 weeks when it leaks out. 600$/700 later
ITS A 2.5 TON!!!!!! Its a 16 seer 2.5 ton but, i see how you could have seen 5 ton. very tricky number layout
Hello, i am very curious, but what does it mean by "16 seer" - i understand what the tons is, but what is seer?
@@MonoChorMe it is the Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating. The higher the seer the more energy efficient
@@RidingWithRamsey Thank you!
Used that lineset with the white insulation that has been since discontinued due to creating leaks
Hey Steve it looks like Gomer Pyle in stalled another AC unit you and Molly take care
Steve your like a AC Superhero!!! You rock brother!!
Rest in peace @18:20 drving buy the cemetery!
I agree, the HVAC tool likely had that unit lying around or the supply house he used had it on sale. From what I know (DIY) those air handlers/heater can be ordered so the service side will fit the needs. Obviously this tool should have put in a horizontal system in there and sized it for the building so it would run correctly. If he has leaks, he should still help his customer after only 2 years even though he is retired by getting another HVAC guy out there, paid for by him. For the rest of its life there, that poor guy is going to have nothing but clusters when the system needs service. So stupid to use an incorrect piece of equipment in a customers building.
its only a 2.5 ton my broski read da serial yourself. you cant believe everything you hear
@@RidingWithRamsey Steve was reading the "60" in the model number. I reckon thats a 16 SEER then? Yeah, now that I see the overall cabinet at the end, its not that big.
Yeah that’s a 2.5 ton system but why the down flow furnace
The numbers in the model number (60) dont represent the tonage. That is a 2.5 ton unit. Looked it up
For that system to work you need a 5 ton coil and blower, and enough supply and return ductwork to handle 2000 cfm.
its a 2.5 ton my good sir
@@RidingWithRamsey He said 5 ton and I jumped the gun. Good eye on model #.
Howdy Steve and Miss Molly
Unit was Manufactured in 2018 it's 6 years old
5 tons, wow. Friends have a ~1900 sq ft poorly insulated house in the Phoenix metro area with a 5 ton. It's a triple stage Rheem and never goes above the second stage (70% output) maintaining temp even at 120 degrees!
For Arizona it isn't uncommon for oversized units being installed mainly for the heat your state is infamous for 😂
@@patrickmccarthy5617 I don't live there, but I have been dog sitting at 115-120 degrees while they're away, multiple times! I'd live in constant fear of a system failure out there. Way more than I'd be scared of losing heat in New England during a cold snap.
Jan 2018 is the manufacture date of the inside unit
Nov 2018 is mfg date of the outside unit
Thanks Steven!
The guy probably had that 5 ton laying around and sold it to the customer.
Steve. Could you please do a video about how you can tell how many 'tons' a unit is
12,000 btu is ! ton of cooling, so any derivative of 12 in model number tells you tonnage,,,,,24 would be 2 ton, 36 would be 3 ton , 42 would be 3 1/2 ton and so on..........
Near the center of the model number you will see 18, 24, 30, 36, 48 or 60 telling you the thousands of BTUs. 12000 BTUs is one ton of cooling-- 60 is 60,000 BTUs or 5-ton
Unfortunately Steve read that model wrong, it's a 2-1/2 ton unit not 5. You can look it up yourself. Not oversized. But I can see why at first glance he thought that, because normally 031 is not used for 2-1/2 ton, usually it's 030. But that 60 got him at first glance
5 pounds of juice?! Wow! Wonder how long that will last.
yeah.. damn thing only holds 94 ounces so it was running on 15% Charge wow..
Another kick ass video Steve, keep them coming 👍 👏 👌 👍 💫💥
Soft solder on 410A ??
That is malicious
Straybright 8
Fackin slasher here.
He ain’t used to the new drill mama
do you have to pull permits for ac installations?
You could pull a permit to hang a picture. The city would take your money for it.
A pile of Goodman. Steve
Hello Steve
OOOOH Ya missed a bump
Don't you have enough work in order to turn down repairing others hack jobs😢
Guy retired...Just not soon enough! 🤣🤣🤣
Nothng but quality here
Give it some gundy
It makes you wonder why goodman is always part of a hack install.
He's (hacker) retired now...how convenient.
You can't stop a Goodman! But you can abuse them. What a crappy install.
New drill !! Chiiina??
Hacking an insurance guy 😢
Wish you lived here in my town
Hey Steve and Miss Molly! Workin’ again ya’ll. 👍👍
Cant stop a Goodman
Steve gets all the shit shows
I think that can be said for many tradesmen
Steve gotta fix another jack job
