    It looks like that Makita has adjustments for the amount of twisting force on the battery itself. Speeds are usually 4 speeds on the trigger. It's all in the owners manual. Nice that someone sent that to you 18v is a good middle of the road model.

      I think the 2.5 ton only comes charged with 80 some ounces of refrigerant, so depending upon line length, there was virtually no refrigerant in the system. So, if leak not addressed, then???

    Hi Steve that unit was not a 5 ton until it's a Goodman 16 SEER 2.5 Ton unit that matches the inside gas furnace like you Said why's that coil door not accessible ?? maybe there's a reason maybe not, great video Steve. It's getting time for calls for heating problems and service calls. Have a great weekend.

    17:46 look at the brazing on that first expanded fitting coming out of the system on the suction side, you can literally see holes where there's like no braze or hardly any.

    I agree, the HVAC tool likely had that unit lying around or the supply house he used had it on sale. From what I know (DIY) those air handlers/heater can be ordered so the service side will fit the needs. Obviously this tool should have put in a horizontal system in there and sized it for the building so it would run correctly. If he has leaks, he should still help his customer after only 2 years even though he is retired by getting another HVAC guy out there, paid for by him. For the rest of its life there, that poor guy is going to have nothing but clusters when the system needs service. So stupid to use an incorrect piece of equipment in a customers building.

    For that system to work you need a 5 ton coil and blower, and enough supply and return ductwork to handle 2000 cfm.

    5 tons, wow. Friends have a ~1900 sq ft poorly insulated house in the Phoenix metro area with a 5 ton. It's a triple stage Rheem and never goes above the second stage (70% output) maintaining temp even at 120 degrees!

    • @user-ki9vm9vq9o
      @user-ki9vm9vq9o 10 дней назад +1

      12,000 btu is ! ton of cooling, so any derivative of 12 in model number tells you tonnage,,,,,24 would be 2 ton, 36 would be 3 ton , 42 would be 3 1/2 ton and so on..........

    • @donhorn548
      @donhorn548 10 дней назад +1

      Near the center of the model number you will see 18, 24, 30, 36, 48 or 60 telling you the thousands of BTUs. 12000 BTUs is one ton of cooling-- 60 is 60,000 BTUs or 5-ton

    • @mr.roberts3886
      @mr.roberts3886 10 дней назад +1

      Unfortunately Steve read that model wrong, it's a 2-1/2 ton unit not 5. You can look it up yourself. Not oversized. But I can see why at first glance he thought that, because normally 031 is not used for 2-1/2 ton, usually it's 030. But that 60 got him at first glance
