- Founded in 1682, The Third Haven Meeting House is located in Easton, Maryland and was established by the Religious Society of Friends (Quarters). It is one of the oldest house of worship in the United States to survive since its construction, with many original parts of the house still intact and still used by the congregation. Among the builders of the House is William Southeby, who is believed to be the first white abolitionist to write against slavery in America.
This is one of twelve properties documented in partnership with Preservation Maryland. NCPTT scanned this building using a Faro Focus Laser Scanner to produce this video flythrough of the building's point cloud digital model.
