Uh this issue doesn't happen for me or anyone I know - it could just be a pc bottleneck or some mod incompatibiliity (optifine messes with other mods a lot, if you have it try play without it and see). Id say your best bet is to just ask in the cataclysm discord - if you dont have it i can send a link

Why is it that whenever a Cataclysm item is visible on my screen, I get a huge lag spike for a moment or two? Is this a common issue?
It only really happens for big items, like ignitium armour or the incinerator.
