Kudos to Kia for since about 2015 not making their entry trim levels not total penalty boxes. The engine in this won't win and races but it's fine for what the buyer in this price range looking for a 7 passenger vehicle needs. It's certainly better than a base Dodge Journey which is the main competitor other than the Sante Fe. Every other 4 cylinder 7 passenger SUV I can think of like the Highlander or CX-9 is going to be more expensive.
My wife and I just bought a used Sorrento yesterday. Its in almost like new condition. We got the one with the v6. We didn't have a trade in because the motor in our Chevy equinox blew up. I was wondering how long it would last because it drank oil like a drunk. I sure hope the Sorrento lasts.
@@lennyjamesthunderstone7117 no dodges for me. I used to work for Chrysler building the Dodge Ram. When they took my job away I vowed to never own another no matter how good they are.
SUCH A ADORABLE AND WARM SUV

I had many choices today. I went through the the Kia Sorento. Was thinking about the Dodge journey.
My current equinox just shit the bed on me and now looking at the Sorento as well.
@@TunesSquad65 if you go for the sorento or any big SUV just make sure to get the v6. 4cylinders just don't hold up. Its too much weight on the 4.
Is the gdi engine OK?
I believe they are, I’ve seen many that crest 100000 miles, just a lot of other expensive parts can go out in these mid 2010 Kias like a/c
How much does it cost
