    for these portraits can I use 6mm plywood, or is it too thick? Is it better to use 4mm?

      Hi, 4 mm is easier to cut, but you can use 6 mm, I have already seen such project made of 8 mm, also looks nice

      @@rinux505 also can be used, but 4-6 I think looks better, but it is only my opinion

    what sort of backing on the frame, do you use paper , tape ?etc?

      For background I use self adhesive film "Oracal" with texture of black wood

    what is the glue you used ,bottle had 88 on the label.? your work is truly art.

      Thanks. Glue - "88" of Ukrainian production (instruction: apply glue on both surfaces, wait about 10-15 minutes until the glue dries, squeeze the glued surfaces). Someone wrote that in the USA similar glue calls "Contact Cement", also I know that some of my customers use "Gorilla" wood glue

      I bought it at local store, so I cant advice where you can find it at your country. It calls Pegas 16CE Scroll saw

      Sí, solo uso la sierra de calar - Jet JSS-16

      It is birch plywood 4 mm, project done using scroll saw Jet JSS-16

    A guy turned me onto useing no.0 olsen spirel blades for cutting out portraits it cut my time way down

      I use only flat blades, I dont say that they are better, I think it is the matter of habbit

      @@billallmon4094 I am returning to this after a 25 year absence. Pinless blades and spiral blades especially have been a fun surprise. Really enjoying playing with different options now.
