Dying on Ectospasm apocalypse difficulty makes it easier. / Vs. RetroSpecter IPU UPDATE (1.5)

Dying multiple times on Ectospasm apocalypse difficulty sets chart difficulty back to hell, but actual difficulty setting will still be set at apocalypse.

You can unlock that WITH BOTPLAY. No medal, but you still get the GF swap unlock.

For anyone that want to unlock retrospecter on the speakers in an easy way. I actually recommend hitting 7 and just getting rid of the chart. I just did that and I worked. Sure you don't get a score but at least you get retro.

An easier way to unlock that retro as gf thing is to beat ectospam hell as the saku boyfriend model. It just gave me the speaker animation when I beat it.

You get the Retrospecter BF for beating it on Hell or Apocalypse as any BF, I can confirm this because I played with default BF with Ace as the GF and got it, so it should work with all BF and GF options

I would cheat my way through it just to get retro boyfriend, the song is just unneccesarily hard and I hate songs with damage notes or insta kill notes, at least be creative with it like Hypno.

@@boycalledchaz9849 That is true but I don't like damage notes, it's overused and it's the only thing that causes problems in FNF to me. I beat Hell Monochrome and Left Unchecked, but I can't beat these Retrospecter songs and Expurgation because of insta kill notes, my brain just wants me to press them.
The difficulty of the Hypno mod is very well great while not being impossible, and it's enjoyable, while the damage notes are overused and are nearly in every mode. Had a lot of fun going through hell mode.
