As a trucker in the world today. Thank you Mr Stuart.
My cousin Karl Dean Thiel passed away two months ago today. He spent almost all of his life as a long haul trucker, and he was proud to be one. I don't know if he ever heard this song but it describes him perfectly. R.I.P. Cuz' See you on down the road someday.
The Dick Dale of country!!!!! The best .....hang ten Marty ....and thanks.....Mt Tabor... NJ
He's one of the last traditionalists left. He honors those that came before him. Rock on Marty!!
Truck driving songs seemed to be a thing of the past but Marty changed that with this classic; great words, great groove, hot guitar picking what more can there be? Love it!
I hate to admit I only discovered this now. Damn this song hits me where I come alive those late nights trucking thru west Texas. This, 14 gears ( Midland ) and Seminole wind does what coffee can't on those late nights. Love it!
Now that's Country Music
I have this CD in my car and play it over and over. One of the best works of music to come out in years.
David Bruce I agree with you. This is a great album. This is my go to road album when driving to gigs. These guys outshine anything that comes out of "country music" radio; within the first 4 bars.
Agree w both of u. Saw these guys feb in des moines iowa. Cant quit listening. Wonderful.
What a treat to hear real country music! Well done.
Marty with the fabulous superlatives rock always have, always will. All ways. Bought this album the day the store got it and it has been on heavy rotation in my whip Mr. Pete!!!
Miss you bud...
He is the true keeper of the flame. He knows what County is and he is as big a musical treasure as anyone else in all of Music. He walks and talks it. Country radio would not even know what to do with this song.
I have been listening to Marty since i saw him on country music tv in the UK back in the 80s he was brilliant singer then and still is.
One of my favorite tunes and bands right now!
Marty, been watchin' the TV show since we discovered it on RFD TV. We were fortunate enough to see you and Miss Connie's concert in Lenoir, NC - INCREDIBLE SHOW! Thanks to you both real country music is still alive! Thanks for sharing your gifts with us.......
Good Country Music....
Thank you !!! What can I say I'm a truck driver Love this song.
Yep. It don't mean a thang if it ain't that twang. Thanks Marty for keeping the twang alive.
love Marty he knows music
Great song wish I heard more of Marty on the radio love to see them all on RFD
real music played by real talent
Marty Stewart is a legion never saw his concert but RUclips has given me a front row seat maybe 1 day he will come to Simpsonville South Carolina and I can break out my walker and listen to him live
It'll work, don't change ANYTHING.
Marty on fire here, and the super Superlatives showing why they are arguably the best band out there. Whole Lotta Highway is a classic smash hit that will only get air time on 650 WSM.
you got Mike Campbell legendary heartbreaker of Tom Petty's band by the year before we lost Tom.
one behind the production of this whole album Marty picked them he said I want you to produce this album and they came up with some really great songs too they took Marty's vision and Mike Campbell's great production everybody knows if you listen to some rock and roll through the years along with the Heartbreakers and he wrote the boys a summer that Don Henley covered and a whole lot more through the years along with Petty and the Heartbreakers material.
Hi, thanks to you for liking my music and believing in me. Its indeed a moral push, without the support and love from fans like you i wont be where i am today,i am using this little free time of mine to appreciate the love and hope you'll never grow tired of listening.
Marty, I saw you and the band three times in the last two years. A venue within 150 miles of Hendersonville NC works for lots of your fans.
I love the smaller venues.
At last, a band, that knows, how to play COUNTRY....My hats off , to Marty , and the Superlatives....Thank you.....
That album is freakin fabulous! Been listening 2 Marty since he was a kid. and the treat just keeps getting better. As a Chicagoland transplant 2 CA later in life, and only 5 yrs ago, this album has all kinda greatness and u captured the vibe. Wish I had seen the Grass Vally show last year, but other things in my way. Now I will finally see this awesomeness in Sacramento in a couple months. So delighted that I can see this here. I happened to fall in love with CA too. Took a long time, but how sweer now. So looking forward to seeing and feeling this music live! Thx Marty and crew for being so original and creative, and oh, that band!,
Wish this was what made up country radio
Damn aint' that the Truth!!
If it did you would still have to listen to hours of garbage to hear something decent.
Cross Roads Productions he'd have to go through a whole lotta garbage with a million songs to go to hear Marty Stuart 😂😂
Marty's best.
No shit. I dont listen to country anymore. Painful.
always puts a huge smile on my face when I hear Marty workin Clarence's Tele ! Cousin Kenny too

Marty still one of the best tele guitar players in Nashville. he makes great use of the string bender as did Clarence. This is the real Marty. Chris Scruggs great addition on bass. mos60
This is first class country rock ! ---( the real deal )
This sounds awesome; Marty and the boys still laying it down.
Welcome Back Marty. Howdy from Kyle,Texas..
Marty, you are Country Music's Historian and Ambassador! I appreciate you so much. When I watched Ken Burns Documentary on Country Music (3 times now) I most enjoyed your commentary.
Beautiful song sung by our great Singer Marty Stuart. He was gifted with Awesome voice. Love him
Hi, thanks to you for liking my music and believing in me. Its indeed a moral push, without the support and love from fans like you i wont be where i am today,i am using this little free time of mine to appreciate the love and hope you'll never grow tired of listening.

See y'all again next stop in Charlotte!
Love this one. Good tune Marty
WOW you guys gotta come to El Salvador
Great song! Can't wait to see Marty and his band at C2C at the O2 in March.
Great tune, well done Marty and Superlatives!
A lot of folks complaining about not playing this type of authentic music on the radio... who cares?... broadcast radio is dead in my view. The last AM country station in Denver went off the air probably a decade ago and that seemed like the end of an era to me. Now oldies stations that used to play 50s and 60s rock are playing 80s garbage like Supertramp.
I'll gladly pay 8 or 10 dollars a month for Spotify or Google play music so I can listen to what I want. Why waste time listening to advertisements and "hick hop" country? life it too short!
Thanks goodness for KSJB, Jamestown North Dakota......still true to old school country.
Frank Wolf KHYI out of Dallas plays this plus a whole lot more. They mix Red Dirt/Texas country which includes great Texas area artists plus new music like this from big stars Nashville kicked to the curb but are still putting out great music. plus they play the classics. They have a free app to listen. KHYI 95.3 The Range. You won't hear ANY pop or bro country. Give it a listen.
KILI Radio Porcupine, SD Pine Ridge, SD thank goodness!
supertramp are a 70s band and are not garbage
to my two late trucker friends James and Chris miss you both
Please come and play in the UK, ASAP !
Love it been driven for 30 yrs now love this song
My Favorite!
damn that's really country music.

Thanks for making such great music to help us get through these crazy c-19 years.
Great song, great artist. I'm surprised not many people have heard it here. It needs to be pushed into more listeners suggestions.
I love this song I sing it in my head all the time and I listen to it on 650 wsm am
