@@joecovey2235 I absolutely disagree with you on the design, it looks like a hypercar. The flagship Ferrari car isn't about the V12 engine, it's about the power train that has the most performance of its time and given how the values of an ecoboost V6 powered Ford GT is, a Ferrari with a LeMans winning V6 (overall winner, not just its category) is bound to go up in value.
I'm sure that's true. That's how Ferrari and other luxury brands create demand. They say they're already sold out and then the phone starts ringing with people who want to overpay for one. This thing is sadly ugly in stark contrast to the LaFerrari, overpriced, and will never be driven by its owners.
If it really get an MGU-H that's quite exciting. When running the engine hard, there will always be loads of hybrid available. Would it be the power added to the 296's , or can it also charge the battery as it also does in F1?

Why is it hilarious and why are you happy they ditched the V12? Ferrari V12’s have been the pinnacle of Supercars for the best part of modern automotive history. The tone, the emotion, the performance, the reliability, the function, the ties to F1 etc. Very few auto-manufacturers can hold a candle to the Ferrari flame!!
@@natbarronlol you people and this fake “emotion bullshit” get out of the basement. Yes the V12 sounds better. But it’s not needed these days. V6’s can make more than enough power that’s needed. Plus electric. This car would have been 4,000lbs with a V12 even with all the carbon

It’s awful like every other new Ferrari. Pininferino in the phone now I bet
It looks great minus the black burglar mask. But I don't like and heavy hybrid stuff. And it should be rwd. I would love it if it was RWD non hybrid 1300kg or less with over 1000HP V12 preferably naturally aspirated but turbos would be fine too since this has turbos anyway even with the hybrid.
it was cool for Mclaren to offer you the W1. You have advertised a lot of their products for free.
Dumping there V12 is a mistake imo, and damn that front end is butt ugly, especially that stupid black stripe between the headlights. Ferrari has lost the plot with their stying with this and the 12 Cylindre.. Should hire Pinifarina again.
The problem is everyone like you would still be passing comments like Pininfarina needs to come back even if the V12 was used in this car just like you said about the 12Cilindri. It's good that you won't be buying either and the F80 is sold out, now don't get offended. Also, the V12 will make its appearance in this platform as an icona series car.
@@hellcat-707 Yeah, of course it’s sold out, it’s an exclusive car that will now be number six in collectible Ferraris “big five.” Doesn’t change that the front end design is ugly or the lack of V12. That will be judged as time goes on, maybe it will become more liked, maybe it will not, maybe people will look back on the others as more desirable. Only time will tell.
Hi brooks , what do you think this car will run in the 1/4 mile I'm thinking 9.0 ~ 9.1 @156 ~157 ... you think it will do 8s like the W1?
You can choose a full carbon body for the F80 and it makes it look sooo much better.
I have heard from a reliable pipeline that they are not sold out, not even close.
Would it be the power added to the 296's , or can it also charge the battery as it also does in F1?
i find it hilarious that all the kids in every comment section are crying because it’s not a V12. i’m happy they ditched the V12 and put something smaller and lighter and just as powerful. the McLaren Artura was a disappointment because the numbers were so low. but Ferrari knocked it out the ballpark imo.
Calm down with your $4k shitbox RSX.
@@mikelmarion you idiot. You literally just affirmed my argument and contradicted your own argument about emotion. 😂
@@natbarronit’s a Le Mans inspired supercar by ferrari.. for the street! The weight distribution is better, it will rev faster through gears, it has state of the art technology. emotion not needed, speed is needed.
The problem isn't the v6, the problem is the v6 is in their top of the line car when other cars they offer have v8 and v12 options. I would have been happier with a v8 or v10. Weight savings aside, it just won't sound as unique compared to most cars on the road that also have ttv6 (400z, stinger, ecoboost, ct4, etc). As others have stated, LaF prices and 812 comp prices are rising as we speak.
I made a spec in black with a yellow stripe. Since clients can't choose a different color for that "stripe", when the car is black, it looks WAY better in my opinion. I'm not buying one anyway so it doesn't really matter 😅
I think the car looks nice, but it is not worthy of being the successor of the LaFerrari. The V6, the design... it is very nice, but it doesn't make sense to me. If I had the money to buy such a thing, I'd definitely go for the LaFerrari, and between this and the W1, I think the whole car community is leaning more towards the McLaren.
I'd take that black strip between the headlights and paint it body color. The car doesn't need visors
green jewel spec looks mighty nice
The overall design screams 80's prototype, even though the front view reminds me of the Senna.
Unpopular opinion: LaFerrari is where Ferrari went wrong. First car where they ditched Pininfarina, lead their designs in a messy incongruous direction for a decade to come, first Ferrari road car with a hybrid system, etc. Everything we complain about with modern Ferraris started there
People are so critical about a new model and in 10 yrs everyone will love it. It’s a good looking car yeah it’s a V6 and yes people complaining can’t afford it anyway and will probably never see or hear one in person
I'll still take a Rimac Nevera R
and they will hold their value at twice as much as the W1 over time.
This car looks so detailed on my 4k display in FH5
Daytona Sp3 > imo
It looks best in Black on the Configurator! With a Yellow and Red Livery!
Did you try the full carbon fiber
Art of tecnology...tecnology of art❤
A Brooks we're here something crazy Ferrari is working on a motor that has two turbos a supercharger and the motor is turned upside down and Porsche working on a 6 stroke motor that works with odd cylinder numbers 3 6 9 on the last episode of Carwow
I’m not fond of the black stripe along the hood and the lights! I think a solid color for whatever the color of the car is would be better.
Of course the V12 is much more exciting, however far from being efficient in terms of shear performance. I think Ferrari took a different approach in the F80, while in LaF they favored beauty and excitment, the F80 was all about performance. So the V6 makes sense, the F1 and Lemans car are V6 Hybrid so..... I think from now on, the V12 will be for SP series
They say they're all sold out? Did these people just blindly put down their money, or did they tell them it had a V6? Ferrari owners seem LOVE the V12.
I like the performance potential of a PHEV!
Call that horizontal black stripe at the front a unibrow.
Let's face it Ferrari have failed on this one
Imagine having a "failed" car that has already been sold out. W
Failed? how though, when they're all sold out
@Mufc_Kenny I don't care if it's sold out. This car looks terrible, and a V6, really. Each to their own I guess.
@@golden5522 its not about the sales. its about which brand makes the best of the new "trinity". The look its subjective, but on numbers. this f-80 already lost to the W1.
btw, forget about the sales. Ferrari could develop any shit with a limited production and all them would be sold
@@joaquinporcile3504 lost to the W1? But nothing is proven. What McLaren and Ferrari is telling us is nothing but what's on paper we will see when the time comes
When will you upload SF90 vs Revuelto?
I’m shocked how incredible this is. You’ve truly mastered this art.
😂
Bot
The modern F80 is the modern F40 and I’m a fan!
yesterdays 700k hypercar is now todays 4 million dollar hyper car FJB.
I like this car a lot, well done Ferrari
Might be a hot take, but IMO i think the sp3 daytona both looks, sounds and feels like more of a replacement for the La Ferrari than the f80
Y’a she is totally awesome in that shiny red with line and curve just beautiful 😮😊
Introducing the Ferrari’s new halo car: LaDaytona 6cylindri
It's not UGLY but I think the W1 is the better choice performance and look wise. I bet they done the v6 for weight savings. I'm sure they had an idea that the new hypercar from mcclaren would be extremely light so they needed to save weight somehow. I wonder how much the v6 vs the v12 weight difference is? Just the engine
Well if it's true that they sold all of them, then obviously that's what people wanted. 🤷♂️
It doesn't matter what Internet says.
This just made the W1 look better.
what do u think ¼ mile time ??
Ask David Mr Lee to let u drive one to test it. He's getting one.
None for Manny 🤭

@@breakupgooglePowerslidelover does.
I dig it! Something a little different for once.
I don't think this Ferrari is designed to set the fastest time in a straight line, but more to chain several fast chconos in a circuit, a bit like the one that runs at the 24h of Le Mans
