- We’re winding up the tenth season of GearZ, and what a season it’s been! But we’ve got some business to take care of before we move onto season eleven. First things first…Holley just made an EFI even easier to install on your carbureted vehicle, and Stacey will show you just how on target the Sniper is. The Thiokol Imp gets a suspension upgrade to keep it on track. And there’s a new kind of off-roading that’s sweeping the nation…see what RC4WD has going on. And what season would be complete without guitars? Check out Tennessee Electric Company as Stacey introduces a new guitar-maker whose custom guitars are hotter than the asphalt at the drag strip.

Stacy has been a staple in my Saturday morning routine since I was in High School back in 1999/2000. Love his shows and how he always encourages people to get out there and get busy "doin" and stop "dreamin". Great video!
Man i cant be leave I found you. Love watching you as a kid in the 90 and I was looking for information on track unit and there you where Sweet!!!!
I've never seen this before. This is the coolest show. I've got a vehicle you can rebuild. How about an 1953 miniature train
Problem i see is with the trailer torsion axles. They usually end up "toed" out. The rubber they use inside breaks down. I have 3 torsion axle boat trailers and they all burn tires off like mad! Im. Replacing them all with traditional leaf spring axles. I have 4 of those and they are fine.
Any chane of a 1080p of ththese seasons for those of us who want to Binge Watch in the Garage????? 😎
I suppose you don't want to see my failed filled tires on my Thiokol 2100 I will be replacing them with pneumatic again that way I don't have rubber falling off and getting bound up in the track guides
I think an old willys truck bed would have worked out a little better. It's basically the same, but smaller.
On your build book you should add some pockets to hold a flashdrive or camera memory card so that a video or photos can go with it and this will help with getting the right amount of insurance needed to cover the vehicle
I'll come back in a month of this endless commercial to see where you're at with the snow cat.
Considering this video was posted over 3 years ago and you can fast forward any part you want it just makes you look like an @$$ posting a comment complaining about ads(sponsors), especially considering that is how they ended up on tv in the first place.
Just be thankful that we can still see these old builds and Stacey David hasn’t monetized them with RUclips ads. 🤷🏻♂️
Build a million dollar shop and stock it with people and materials. Buy vehicles and fix them up and never mention or show brand names. Now produce free video content and hope you get some youtube ad money. Let us know how the bankruptcy hearings go.
How do you find a decent snow cat for sale
Lots of online searching. Especially in areas where snowcats were more commonly used.
Like how he says leaf springs are obsolete when even modern trucks today use them
He didn't say the leaf springs were obsolete, he said the original suspension system was obsolete (for a tracked vehicle like a snowcat, it is) and was replaced with a torsion bar suspension.
This has more commercials than fucking cable tv
Stacey that is not a Machinist Vise.
That's not where sprockets wear..
Chris Chapman ya. And that's also not where the "grouser" touches the sprocket. Since the grouser doesn't even touch the sprocket. The chain link does. The grouser is the lips that stick up off the track pad. Lol
Now I remember why I stopped watching this show... it's just nothing but an endless commercial.

I was referring to when they were being televised. You couldn't fast forward, then... DUH!
Check out Dan Short's video on why Phantomworks ended. No sponsorships means no money, and you wind up a million bucks in debt after 8 years of producing a TV show. Direct to RUclips stuff is a lot better in terms of advertising, but this wasn't direct to RUclips.
Over 5 minutes of intro/infomercial before any site of the snowcat. 6 minutes of snowcat then another 11 minutes of no snowcat. Only non infomercial part is 'what others are working on'. Always nice to see what others are working but I wanted to see the snowcat. Sorry Stacie but thumbs down to these videos and I probably won't be back.
I've learned more from Matt's rambling at BleepinJeep and I don't even own a Jeep.
