Hey friend. Any way you could find a moment to talk about your "studio" rig setup? I am wanting to start my own channel for "Painting Time" and would like some advice on a one-man setup.
On 3rd Edition, Catachans used to have a special rules called "Oops, Sorry Sir", for each commissar you had in the army you had to roll a D6 for each one of them. On a 1 they had meet an "unfortunately" end, since Catachans don't like strangers that aren't from their regiments(meaning aren't a Catachans) telling them what to do. Lore and fluff instead of "balance", what an awesome edition.
@@ToastedMap1e I could tell you to play chess, but that is an old response. True balance in 40k is something very difficult to achieve, specially how competitive play works, sells a ton to GW. But if you like balance I guess you are loving the lastest editions of the game, they should be all about that... Right? 🤣
Ya I like the new edition (streamlined) and ya I play chess having both balanced and narrative things isn't that hard of a thing to achieve being against gimmicks doesn't mean I dont like narrative
I see Sly Marbo based more off Arnold Schwarnagger's character "Dutch" in Predator (1984) especially when you put the mini side by side with the picture of "Dutch"
I like that moment when Catachan guardsmen threw a poop took by some native monster at Chaos Lord face, who didnt wear any helmet, becouse he was a big pants named character so no helmets for him, and murked him with that :)
All of these feats are cool but I know a cooler Guardsmen. They named a grenade after him because he was really good with explosives even if he was really inaccurate. I even saw him kill a Grot once he missed three shots on it but he hit the fourth so it’s like he never missed in the first place. His name KrakDuk.
Next video suggestion: Badab War (because Space Sharks) or Devastation of Baal (because Dante, probably one of the most Badass chapter masters living today)

Tbh I appreciate that aug arms in 40k ttpically require replacement of part of the torso. If you put a super strong arm on a shoulder they'd just wound themselves constantly.
Eldar stricking scorpions and dark eldar incubi are literally 40k's version of the predator. Unfortunately both are overshadowed by howling banshees and their 'questionably-large-for-the-0,01%-body-fat-stick-bug-people' assets
My favourite is the after cadia fell and the warp burst out everywhere they sent a force to help the catachans fight them off but be the time they arrived the world had dealt with the chaos force.
