The living space is TOO SMALL...the dining table is literally in the kitchen 🤨. Also it's time for a different design of the houses.

I got a house like this at age 26 about 28 years ago. One person laugh at us saying it’s matches box. It would be a long story if I tell you about their housing situation over the years. We see it as expensive then and had to ban our belly to survive. NOW forward we still have that house now rented out, a ‘mansion’ but I will humbly say a nice big house in a nice development and a vacation property. Sometimes you just have to start and nuh watch people. I know it’s hard. I hope persons are allowed to add on as needed. I forgot to say we throw partner for down payment back then to buy the first house. The big house takes years to finish but in the end we are happy. We don’t have quick money so lots of planning and spending wisely.
@@heyjoey009 The thing is there is veerrryyy little space for addition. And you can only build upstairs on the addition you did which is not a lot of space.
@heyjoey009 well said matches box turn mansion. People don't see the potential of these properties. You can made additions to these houses. I remember the Greater Portmore quads, if see how these house look now, you wouldn't believe they were quads (1 bedroom).
@Marsha Griffiths mansion cannot hold on that landspace. You can build on top of the existing structure with the greater portmore quads. You cannot with these in the video.
It is so pitiful that they decrease the size and value of these units. I had a friend who bought one in the Phoenix 1 and those units where way way larger. The kitchen even had a little Island which I was so excited about. KMT , worst thing is that they add 5 million for a lower quality home.

Please bare in mind that in Phoenix Village 1 there are different unit size, so these in Phoenix Village 2 it would be similar to the 675 unit size in Phoenix Village 1. But I do agree the starter lot size is small but base on what I heard you can buy bigger lots base on availability
Ok, my take, not a bad unit for a couple or familiy with 2 small kids.... bedrooms are a decent size.... would recommend a butcher block square table that can double as more work space if needed... in my opinion a rectangular table is more suited 5han a round table... move the water fountain down and add a small pantry...... when that short on storage, no need a wine rack , the open shelving can be used to store plates, bowls and glasses

@@kemicallx the house size is very small and the there is limited space at the back for expansion. If I were to take it, I’d have to sell and downsize on my furniture.
@@tamekawilliams8708 You cold use it as Airbnb and use that money to purchase another one to live in. If yoyu are renting you could continue renting too while using this unit as Airbnb. It has alot of earning potential.

the front yard is big and no space at the back for your family neither is there space for addition. I know the majority of people in Jamaica really need homes to live in but but good God mon this is cruel man. Where do you add on? More cost effective to have a standard design which allows the developers to sell back at an affordable price... plus this is generally how these kinds of developments are done...
Gores have a standard Mold that is used to make their units. New Harbour Village, Phoenix Village, all the same, they just use upgraded fixtures each time. I live in New Harbour Village and I love it there, i think the land space is better, phoenix village is too chuck up in my opinion. Too many houses is that development.

The land space is smaller than the previous houses they is no space at the back. The standard land space should have remain and they should leave the island in the kitcken.
