I don't think Nicki is ghetto. I really don't, she doesn't act like it, and most people don't even know what the word means, which as an African American young lady is really offensive because you all just throw the word around like it's worst thing in the world. She has a very good speaking voice, she's able to support all of her claims, she's not snapping her fingers in someone's face, and she uses proper English. Nicki is a mainstream artist, so she has to project her personality. Who cares that she's wearing slippers? That's just how she dresses. What should matter is what she's saying, and the fact that most of you are commenting on her outfit instead of her words tells me you just want to nit pick. Mariah Carey is a snob. She's not a bad person, just stuck up like no tomorrow.

But it was unfair. Why was she directing her anger towards Nicki? Did Nicki accept the part on American Idol to make Mariah angry. No. She did it cause she liked it. I know Mariah is legendary and I respect her since her career is longer than my life on earth but I felt like she was directing her anger towards someone who was completely innocent.
Unbreakable Flower Wrong. Producers wanted a "dramatic" kind of season on American Idol. So why not bring a hot headed and a diva on same spot. Mariah already knew this was happening, and that's what irked her.
I love Mariah way more than nicki but I do agree on some of the things nikki is saying and as talent and big hearted as Mariah is she's very stuck up
