Riding the Swells: A Girl´s Fast Paced Sailing Adventure.

We are sailing through Danish passage Kattegat at 8 knots under nearly perfect conditions: wind 12 m/s, waves 1.5 meters. Sailing on broad reach requires much active steering.

Hi just checking as this is a one of a kind s.v. converted from a fishing ship did you yourself have the keel modified and if so what was changed. I find this s.v. to be an excellent boat for live aboard in sails and set up. So I am intrigued. Thanks Elle.

The keel is original from 1935. The strong was added in 1973. I added topmast and bowsprit 7 years ago. I have some drawings here: www.atlantictours.net.
