Discord would come in and watch server activity. They would turn you down if they felt your server had anything negative. It seemed like if anyone started cussing about a game or for fun, we would get an email within the hour that we didnt get partnership. After three times of what looked like cussing was the issue, we cussed like crazy and within 20 mins we got turned down. The last time we applied, someone came in and started arguing with others about some of the sections they wanted in the discord. Within the hour we got turned down. Pretty much gave up on that.
Appreciate your insight on your experience with it. I always found it weird how strict they were when it came to the "culture" you had to upkeep in your server. I get if a server is upholding TOS standards, but light cussing was always weird to me

i was removed from the partner program literally a few months before they shut it down bc my server was inactive & now they don't even care
RIPPP. Yea once server boosts came out they slowly stopped caring about the partner program. Sadge
