22 yrs old myself and cannot think of anything better for my age than an orient kamasu, same build quality as a seiko 5 being a seiko brand and for around the same price point you get a sapphire crystal

Yep, it’s true. I found as I got older that it was easier to read analogue watch faces rather than digital.
And specially ones with the darker face and light hands; like that Tudor first up, it's beautiful.

The Bambino’s are great. But I would also recommend the Glycine Combat 36mm. You can find them just under $300 US. Very versatile casual everyday pieces that are strap monsters. I have the silver dial, but the black and blue dials are beautiful as well. The bracelets are very well made also.

I don't know much about watches. I've seen Seiko, Citizen and know of Rolex, but my mentality was "if it tells time almost as accurately as another, I'll spend my money on a cheaper piece so I can afford other things." That said, my only "nice" watches are from Skagen. They're inexpensive but just look nice without being overly expensive or too big. It's simple and effective. This video is making me consider getting a seiko.

Personally I am really into watches and I have a few affordable ones. I am 19 years old and in a few month I will get my first paycheck while working for the company many of my peers dream of. I am going to reward myself with a Tissot in the price range of 400€-500€. I think you can't go wrong with a Tissot with the powematic 80 movement.

I find it hard to justify having a basic watch when I can have a quality smartwatch like the Samsung Galaxy watch. I have that, replaced the band with a metal one, and I love it. I have an analog face on it, but it has a reminder when I need to get up and move around, keeps track of my step count, I get text notifications, I can check the weather, I can pay with just a tap, etc. There are some hybrid watches out there, but none are quite as good as a full smartwatch.

As a 23 year old recently turned 24, the Orient Mako 2 is one of the best watches one can find. It's an automatic dive watch, with hacking and hand winding and the a beautiful dial, similar to those found in an Explorer.
Sure, the end links are hollow, but those can easily be replaced by another bracelet or with a Nato.
For approx. $160, you can't beat that value.

Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, seems better than all the Watches in the video...
I mean why use a Gasoline Powered Engine in a Car when you have an Electric Motor with the Rev feel!...

I got something like 2 rolexes, 2 Seiko 5's, a Timex, a quartz Citizen, an Eco-Drive Citizen and 2 rectangular shaped Peugeots. My Peugeots are very low-priced simple descent looking watches that I use more than my other fancier watches. Citizen has some really nice looking new automatic models coming out soon.

Orient is a Seiko brand that is often overlooked. Orient Bambino is stylish, and I am planning on owning one when business normalizes.
Also there are points for heritage over price. The Omega Speedmaster Professional "Moonwatch" is great value and the first watch qualified by NASA for space missions.

My first watch was a G-shock. Plastic and dull but I had it for several years. I need me a Seiko watch soon!

My gshock was the very first item that I purchased with my own money. I had it with me on 4 deployments (31st MEU, not combat) and it served me perfectly right up until the battery died. Still need to get around to getting that swapped out.

Bought my Explorer (114270) last year at 35 years old. Loving it! It’s the perfect Rolex. Would love to pick up a 39mm Pelagos if Tudor ever releases one.

I would not turn my nose up at quartz watches. From 1977-2001 or so; Rolex had their own line of Oyster Quartz watches and over that time period made only about 25,000. Still a good watch that CAN be serviced today and well into the future. For young people joining the military, get a good Seiko diver watch. I wore my Rolex GMT Master in the military and never had issues.

Todays watch styles are great for guys with average to large wrists, what about smaller wristed guys? Regardless of age, a Casio is our only option? How about something with style that isn't the size of a dinner plate on my wrist.

Teens: (Cheap tat that you would probably throw away when the battery runs out, or becomes out of fashion (In my case Swatch Watch, Casio Calculator, Casio F-91W). Twenties: (G-Shocks, iWatch (Or a Smart watch in general), a cheap watch with a desirable brand name on it & eyeing up dads Swiss Dress watch for date night- Now seeing the watch as the ultimate accessory) Thirties: (G-Shocks, but no longer on the wrist all the time and a small collection of mid range entry level dress watches from Orient, Seiko, Casio, Tissot, Tag etc) - You will tell yourself that you won't buy a $3k Watch, what a waste. 40's: (A pretty good collection of watches for most occasions, Sports, Beater, Dress, Driving - May or may not have a expensive statement watch from Rolex, Omega etc, if not, defiantly thinking about spending $3k or more for that perfect watch that defines you).
