I am SHOCKED that Godzilla: King of the Monsters isnt on here. Critics HATED that movie and every moviegoer I've talked to thinks it's one of the most underrated movies of last year.
You should totally do the list of movies critics love but audiences hate. That would be very interesting. I know Last Jedi would be on there. I personally loved the Last Jedi, which is kind of why I want you to make the list. I want to see it on there.
Critics: Transformers are horrible. Fans: I have witnessed their capacity for courage, and though we are worlds apart, like us there’s more to them than meets the eye.
Godzilla II: King of the Monsters is also a big example based of this video. Critics didn’t like the sequel at all because of the lacklustre characters, but audiences absolutely liked this much more than the original film because of the action and additional screen time of our titular kaiju
The main reason the transformers movies make so much money is due to the Chinese and Asian markets. Those movies are pretty much tailor made for those audiences and they make up most of the box office gross.
First two didn't make much there. Nearly half of the second one's gross is the US. Third one did better, but not even half of what it made in the US. Fourth and fifth are when that happened.

SJ RANKS well from my personal experience Joker had a mixed reception from people I knew. I had many friends say they didn’t like because it lacked action and there was no Batman or thought Joaquin overacted or just thought that the movie was bad. But I also had some relatives say they thought it was great and my teacher was saying how good he thought it was. I loved joker btw but I never saw such a mixed reception irl like I did with Joker except for Suicide Squad. Home Alone 1&2 and Transformers seem to be universally loved outside of social media. Same with Dark Knight Rises, a lot of people online call it bad, but I’ve never heard that from anyone irl
GamerXP3 yeah I get you on that. That’s also why I really liked Joaquins performance and the movie, because I could relate to it a bit. I was just saying what my peers thought of the movie because what I see online for audience scores vs what I hear in person is sometimes different.

maybe do the flip side version of this ranking. top 10 movies audiences hate but the critics love
The reverse list sounds cool
I'd use imdb if I were you it's much more accurate and more used.
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice
I love BVS too, but that's not a movie critics hate and audience love. I've seen SO many people say BVS is one of the worst superhero movies of all time.
I agree with the critics on BvS. That movie was extremely disappointing.
What happened with The Greatest Showman reminds me so much of the theatre version of Les Miserables. Critics hated that, but audiences still love it to this day.
You look like Heisenberg in his final moments.
Also, no Godzilla King of the Monsters? Honestly surprised that that one didn't make it on the list.
When I saw the title I instantly thought of National Treasure. Critics can hate it all they want, but I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t enjoy that movie. It’s just such a blast!
Where tf is Rise Of Skywalker? That’s my favorite movie of all time!
Glad to see someone not hate on Rise of Skywalker for once.
The best Star Wars movie is Rouge One, and I would tell you to change my mind but I don’t want to waste your time.
@@slendertv3616 says the person who can’t even spell Rogue correctly

Snehil Shrey Funny joke. That trash it’s 8.5 on IMDb
Snehil Shrey says the guy that got mad at me because I didn’t have the same opinion as him

Joker should be here everyone was praising it and it got several Oscar nominations including best picture yet it’s at 68% wtf rotten tomatoes that sh*t should be at like 97% or hell 100% no instead rotten tomatoes is like “man this movie was average it sucked it’s not as good as the dark knight” yet I’m sitting here like did you actually watch the movie
I mean it's not rotten it's still fresh in rt
@Tom Ffrench I respect your opinions but I disagree..
@@armancole2781 I mean it really effects the audience which whom the character relates too... like I related to that movie alot
GamerXP3 yeah I get you on that. That’s also why I really liked Joaquins performance and the movie, because I could relate to it a bit. I was just saying what my peers thought of the movie because what I see online for audience scores vs what I hear in person is sometimes different.
I would love for you to make ‘movies a critics loved and audience hate’ list. It would definitely be interesting to see

I absolutely loved The Greatest Showman (2017)! I bought it and watched it for the first time. I know someone who watched it 7 times in theatres
Anyone that gave Rocky 4 worst movie of the year most of been a Russian spy
Not everyone cared about our pissing contest with the USSR.
Mr Church is another one. 30% critics on Rotten Tomato. Couldn't find a cinema store but it got 80% audience score on rotten tomatoes. I remember enjoying it too!
Where’s Forrest Gump? It only has a 70% on rotten tomatoes but the audience gave it 95%
Lol Forrest Gump won 6 Academy awards, including Best Picture, and is IDMb's 12th highest rated movies of all time. Critics did NOT hate it.
@@npw2004 IMDb and academy is not related to critics
70% isn't bad
LennyBoiLovesRUclips
For Forrest Gump it is. On Toptens it was voted the best movie of all time
Both National Treasure movies were so entertaining.
Transformers: Age Of Extinction is the best transformers.
No, Bumblebee is the best. Although the Netflix Show, War for Cybertron, is even better.
@@slendertv3616 War for Cybertron is shit, Optimus sucks, and worst of all, they ruined the Beast Wars characters
An excellent video concept executed with the usual Sean Chandler skill! Release the companion video with the opposites, I bet it's just as interesting!
Make the opposite video
Movie that audiece hated but critics liked: The last Jedi. I don t understand the huge metascore on imdb
Joker definitely has to be on this list.
Saw was a movie that critics hated but it is one of the most beloved and known horror movie franchise in horror
