Quick question relating to what you mentioned about band tension from rubber band… are rubber bands necessary on rotaries ie: Inkjecta flite nano elite? I know coils is a must have because of the needle wag. But are they necessarily needed with rotary machines?
I just know that I’ve been using rubber bands on my inkjecta but I rubber bands keep snapping and breaking every 10 to 20 minutes. The rubber bands are not super tight, just enough too pretty much stabilized the torsion bar I’m using number 10 or 27 rubber band. There’s 7/8 of an inch around and then the other ones, I bought to try are 1 1/4inch around. Neut they all keep breaking
I tried stretching them prior to putting them on my machine so they’re not stiff or anything like that cause I thought maybe that was my issue. And he tips or tricks? As always thank you very much ahead of time, it’s greatly appreciated!
@@BetterTattooing okay, I wasn't sure if there was any form of wag or anything when the torsion bar hits the little push bar on the back of the cartridge or if there was a wag in general with the up and down motion of the torsion bar and motion of the cam spinning. Thank you as always for the advice!!! And sorry for the late reply, was a crazy busy day at work today.
@briankennedy9059 there can be but you need the wag on most modern rotaries to accommodate rotation of the cams. The initial wag is usually slimmed down once the pushrod entered the slide that connects the main body/pushrod tube to the cartridge.
Very informative Video again. Keep it up!

@briankennedy9059 most cartridge based rotaries don’t need them. I be over your model doesn’t but I never used it before only just looked at a photo
