I've got over 600 jumps. Since I've gotten my A License, I've jumped with someone else...maybe five times. My 'discipline' is jumping alone and doing whatever I want and not having to worry about someone next to me.
Hey girl, love your channel! I'm currently in AFF working on my level 3, stable free fall. Hopefully (if the weather holds up) I'll be doing that jump tomorrow! 😁
I love your videos and did my first tandem and figured out what my dream was and cant wait to start my journey of becoming a skydiver after i get out of the navy thsnk you keep up the great work :)
@@SkydiveVibes I am currently stuck :) I finished a course and I was about to have a theoretical exam but coronavirus struck and I m left home with 100 PDF pages of legislation and things...
FS/RW right now. I firmly believe every and all skydivers should become proficient at belly before attempting any other freefall discipline. After all, you must return to stable belly before pulling. And, swooping is something I can honestly say I’ll never desire to do. I value my legs and ankles too much.
Everyone starting out with freefly is already proficient enough on belly to begin with. It's the most basic of position and pretty much the first thing everyone learns because anything else that's considered freefly is much more difficult. Even getting to a stable sitfly takes way more time compared to learning how to fly on your belly. The difference here is what is considered as "proficient", some might believe you have to be able to participate in big ways before you can go on to freefly which is BS honestly. Most (if not all) are proficient enough at a 100 jumps and I would consider that to be a good time to start out with freefly. I'm a swooper, not really sure about your comment on ankles and legs. If you have a hard landing it would probably be your back you should be concerned about instead of your ankles. If you're referring to high speed landing need to be run out, that's no biggy at all. Either you slide (on grass) or you run depending on the speed.
Angle flying is a new concept to me. What exactly is the appeal over standard vertical flying or even tracking? I've seen a few videos, and it looks like a bunch of jumpers flying on their backs or seated but not really doing anything else. I guess of all the different tricks you can do during freefall, the videos I've seen seem almost as boring as just standard belly flying
The angle flying is basically a track which tends to be head down so the speed is a lot faster and more skills are required since every small movement can have a big impact. It is a great transition to head down flying. ;)
My birthday is a week from today where I’ll be 60. In honor of that my husband is going to have me thrown out of a plane 😂😂😂 As I mention it to people I’m amazed at how many people have jumped before...and many I’d never have consider having done it . Go figure 😀😀
👇👇: Which skydiving discipline are you doing or want to practice?
I want to learn CRW and swooping one day and precision landing
Canopy piloting and loving it.

Jason C Very good points. Belly flying must be mastered before trying out other disciplines. And I am with you for the swoop. ;)
