Style back in the day. Left turn, right turn, back summersault, left turn, right turn, back summersault. The time was around 8 seconds to accomplish this. If you were very good.
I got some sky surfing experience. Only 15 board jumps so not an expert but here’s my take. Fun rating: 3/5. I pick this rating because when sky surfing it’s s total blast once you are out the door like you are surfing over the earth!! But the whole scary nature of the sport mixed with the pain In the ass it is when putting the board on your feet in a plane that’s climbing dampen the fun. Safety: 1.5/5 I put it slightly above wing suiting since there’s a system that can get you free of the board in the event of a mal. However crazy unrecoverable spins if you lose control, very real possibility of parachute entanglements with the board, different malfunction procedures, collisions, and the possibility of the binding coming out if the cutaway cables on the board are accidentally pulled make it a bad day if things go wrong. Experience level. 2/5 so there’s no real standard on sky surfing most coaches say you have to have about 200 jumps and be really good at sit and back flying. At its peak you had guys with 60-80 jumps strapping the board and going for it so yea. Rare factor: 5/5 very very very few jumpers sky surf. It’s probably the least practiced discipline now a days. And even the people that try it tend to fizzle out of it after a little bit.
fwarrrrkkk you're right! The worst part is our national speed champion is a good friend of mine, he will be pissed I forgot about his discipline!! I'll have to make a part 2! cheers
Thanx for the video, I just A-Lic last weekend and ready for group jumps with my mates. I’ll send them this video, they’ll get a kick out of it! You are a great contribution to the sport, ty!
Hello! when WS skydiving one can easily fly at speed of 50-100kmh when flying slow, flaring etc. one can also speed up a WS to 300+kmh when attacking. These very discrepant combinations of speed and heading can cause issues and deaths. cheers
@@LiamGAMES-mz7xw If one Wingsuiter just cruising gets hit by another wingsuiter aggressivly diving their impact can easily kill both, something that has happened a few times
@@LiamGAMES-mz7xw Not that they are more common, but they are deadlier according to stats. It's due to the fact that 1- WS has larger area, making easier to colide. 2- if you are free flying for example, the group is going 300kmh and a meat missile goes 350 or 400 if they really go for it, the impact is 50-100kmh diference and everyone is going the same way (down). with WS one can go 50kmh and another 300, the collision can be 200+ kmh and WS can dive, flare up and fly any direction, north south east west etc so many more chances of deadly collisions.
Thank you for the comment! Unfortunately I decided to take it down as to not fuel discussions on subjective matters. My other alternative would be to just say "ok boomer" hehe ;) Cheers!
no offence bro, but you really should rename your video from "Skydiving Disciplines Explained" to "my point of view on Skydiving Disciplines after (numer) jumps". Srsly, not much common with real life. But still fun to watch, ty for doing skydive videos.
Hey! Take a look at the comments, most people disagree with you. Fortunately my point of view is shared by a lot of other skydivers and they are able to enjoy the video. If you want objective facts I have tons of information videos, this one was written as a fun way to learn about diferent disciplines. But thank you for the nice words, I'm glad you had fun watching it as it was the main goal!

@@МихаилЛебедев-в3д ahah yeah indeed the wingsuit video isnt the best, i was just starting out on back, not using my shoulders and not arching enough but im better now i think lol! No offence taken bro! blues skies to you!

You forgot speed skydiving. Super fun, and you need to be extra crazy to do it.
