Team Nash - UK Road Trip - Carp Fishing Adventure

- Alan Blair, Oli Davies, Alfie Willingale and Henry Lennon were desperate for a road trip carp fishing adventure after a winter of being in lockdown. As soon as night fishing was allowed again and travel restrictions were relaxed, the boys headed out on a journey across the country in the search of some big UK carp. The venues they visited ranged from day ticket lakes, exclusive hire venues and syndicates, demanding varying angling methods in order to be successful in the pursuit for their quarry! 🎣
Join the Nash Team as they embark on an adventure across the United Kingdom, hitting 6 venues in the space of 10 days and catching multiple impressive carp along the way!

Great work as always from the whole crew! The two linears caught by Henry and Alfie were a particular highlight for me. It was interesting to Alan (carp catching machine) struggle for the first 4 days of the trip. Sometimes, no matter how good you are, catching carp is hard and that's why I love the sport so much :)

Great great movie! This movie really opened up my eyes on how i must learn and trust to fish more than one way.. The zig.. of the top with breadbombs or floaters… and i’ve seen it before but still it didn’t really click, 2022 will be my third year fishing, time to learn and do more 😁👍
Carp can be tough critters at times, as you saw in the video! You have to work out the best tactics for the day and so need to have these different skills in your armoury. It’s great you’ve recognised that so no doubt you’ll have a great 2022! Good luck!

Very enjoyable video boys! Just a quick question might sound daft I've got a bush wacker pole. How many poles/extra ones can you get in the case ?
Think you can get 30 in it. Maybe a few more…
I carry 35 around with me in mine and it is pretty full, you might be able to squeeze an extra couple in but that would be it :)

Super video, beautifully edited, really captured the camaraderie of carp fishing, a huge effort I am sure. Maybe when you all get back to work you'll invest the same time and effort in your QA and customer service???? You guys could really corner the market, expand the brand reach with your modern contemporary marketing, superb product development etc but the quality of the gear and immature arguing with stoned teenagers on customer service really let the brand, Kevin and Alan down.... Pity...

I hate to be negative but this isn't for me, I tried to enjoy it but failed. Drones for spotting fish & 100ft baiting poles to get to them, carp don't really stand a chance.

Do you now get a free baiting pole with every Nash reel, as they appear to be unable to cast out anymore?!!🤔😏 These are not ‘fishing videos’ anymore, just tackle & bankside fashion sales garbage!!🙄
I prefer this to watching people bait boat out every single rig with a sonar and fish finder attached. They are snag fishing a lot of times in areas where you would be unable to cast to due to overhanging tree branches and the likes whilst also causing minimum disturbance.
Not once have they told you to go buy any of the items. They haven't shilled you a product or offered you a discount code where they get rewarded for a trash item. They are just using the companies products that they work for and of course, created a 1hour 22minute video for free to watch whilst I haven't had a single advert come up throughout the video.
I even see them using sweetcorn, maggots, worms and bread in this video, so are not promoting that the bait they are using is better than others.
@@notyouraverageguy475 Once people start using baiting poles or bait boats, the fish’s sanctuary/resting areas become targets, leaving the fish nowhere to rest & feel safe. Fish welfare (which we should all have as our priority) will be compromised, leading to early mortality rates due to stress. I’m a traditional angler, who enjoys just being amongst nature, not someone who ‘has to’ catch certain ‘named’ fish, or numbers of fish. Each to their own, but this type of fishing is damaging our sport. If I were a fishery owner, the first thing I’d do is ban bait boats & baiting poles (as many have done) for the welfare of the fish/wildlife. Also, they don’t have to ‘tell you’ to buy any tackle/clothing, it’s all subliminal advertising to the idiots who dash out to buy "the latest……” Regarding the ‘free video’, it costs them less to produce a video of this type, than it does to place an Ad in any media source, & they certainly recoup the outlay with increased sales. Do you honestly? think Nash produce these videos free just for your enjoyment? If you do, you need to wake up and smell the coffee lad🙄
Nice response. I understand that it's marketing none the less for them, but when was the last time I purchased a Nash item itself? I watch it to enjoy the video. Not for the products.
You should see how damaging match anglers are to fisheries at times. Chopping down all vegetation to make a cast easier. Fish with mangled lips. Prolonged time in keep nets.
I can see both sides of the discussion, but my Lol moment came about, when it was stated the baiting pole has reduced the carps sanctuary and as such the carps welfare is compromised, let’s not forget boys, our hobby is completed by pulling a fish to the bank via a sharp piece of metal in its mouth, we need to be aware of the double standards
