So I found this completely by accident, and I found a new show to obsess over, even if it isn’t official. The camera angles are amazing, as is the acting, costumes, and props. There’s the perfect amount of angst, seriousness, a witty one liners to create a Jason Todd that you could see in the comics. Adding things like, “don’t talk to me about clowns,” and “your first mistake was thinking you could beat me. Your second one was trying,” has me honestly wondering if this *wasnt* official.

Red Hood Fan Series The props were awesome, the voice acting was great, the special effects were spot on as were the camera angles, but the fight scenes sucked. They were slow and sloppy; red hood's supposed to be like a ninja, not some Haymaker throwing slow ass street thug.
Honestly, if the fight scene wasn't so bad I'd really like this; but it's like seeing you score a bunch of 5/5's only to screw up one of the most critical elements. Where's the parkour, gymnastics, and crazy martial arts moves?
Not trying to be a dick, but if you want to improve get someone who can do a bit of gymnastics to be the stuntguy as well as someone who knows martial arts well to do the fight scenes. The only part that was okay I thought was when he dodged the taser club aimed at his face and the camera angle changed; that was kind of cool.

Man, I’m already excited for the next episode! The first was well done, had a linear storyline that was easy to follow, and established the Red Hood as a vigilante. Great job guys!

I'm seriously picky about anything I watch - I'd give this an A out of a possible A+ (maybe because I'm in college and thinking about grades and using that for my rating scheme?) Writing, shots, acting, cinematography, directing, and music are all spectacular. The fight scenes were a little slow, I don't think Jason would have commented on the excessive smoke, and the smoke as he walked away kind of came out of nowhere. All VERY minor stuff. AMAZING work, guys.

This is so good, it’s a fan serie but seriously this is good to be fan series, it’s like Dc series or something. I really love this. ❤️
This is a really good opening episode! If you don't mind, I have some feedback 😊
Praise:
• When the bad guys showed up, I didn’t know if they were with Red Hood or someone else at first. Nice misdirection with a solid resolution; a little mini twist! I also like how the mask, while alluding to RH, also look like Peter Parker’s first Spider-Man costume’s mask that we see in Captain America: Civil War.
• Red Hood’s helmet…honestly, I can’t praise it enough, it looks FAN-FRIGGIN’-TASTIC!!! I love the pinched bridge of its nose. It gives him an It gives the mask more emotion so the audience can connect with the character more.
• I really liked the lighting you all used for the fight scene. from the hues on Hood’s jacket it looks like you used orange and teal. Nice use of complimentary colors as well as common colors for street lights!
• I noted that a lot of people have commented on the speed of the fight, so I won’t add that in my critic. However, I did want to note some positives I saw. One, the music style that you use sounds similar to a modern western or country movie (country-rock basically). This would explain the speed of the fight, as even modern films that are set or have a scene set in a country or western setting typically have a slower pace to any fight scenes. I think it works. There are some lagging moments, but you fix that later on! 👍 The fight was actually better the second time I watched it. Jason’s a slower, bruiser kind of fighter in this fight, instead of the quick fighting style we know the bat's use (which he does in a later eps).
• Speaking of music, score is fantastic! I have more to say about them in the comments of the next episode.
• The script is on point! Delivery is fantastic! RH’s lines feel real and in character. Voice mod. is a nice touch as well.
• The lighting is really good! Probably the best of the three eps so far, especially during the fight scene.
Critics:
• The final scene feels superfluous (I am not saying that it is as I do not know where the story is going, but I’m looking forward to finding out), but it feels like it’s a little tacked on. Like something needed to be before or after it. It also drags on just a bit. If it’s not important to the plot to see how Craig dies, then a simple pan up or shot of Craig’s dead body would suffice; however, if knowing what happens when a person dies from being stuck by Black Masks men is important in the future, then I retract this note, and please ignore it! In fact, feel free to ignore it anyway. Camera work was good though!
• My only other critic is that the grunts and such are a little too frequent, and some sound the same for different actions [exp. blocking a punch (4:57) sounds the same as taking a kick to the stomach (5:04)]. This took me out of the fight a little. Sure, similar actions are going to have similar grunts to them, but a little more variety is a good thing. Grunts, groans and exclamations should sound more natural is what I’m getting at. They fix it later!
All in all, great work! Looking forward to the rest of the series! 😁

I always liked that while batman had a deadly silence about him in a fight while jason would have open dialogue with the people he was fighting and making verbal mental notes and wise cracking it gave him way more personality

Very well put together! I do agree with other comments about the slow fighting. I feel that Jason Todd should be quick and more brutal due to his I don't give a fuck if you die attitude. Maybe mix in some Muay Thai and more gun usage! Overall great first episode. Will Arsenal be making an appearance?

I have been waiting forever for DC to do an animated and live action version of RedHood and then last night after rewatching Ishmahawk’s live action Nightwing series I stumbled across this. I have to say this amazing for being fan made. You guys have got Jason’s character down, I look forward to watching this series, I loved it! You guys are really talented.

It is absolutely amazing how your team can make a near movie level film, i am impressed. I say nearly movie level is because there are a bit of flaws. First, Redhood's lines are a bit unnecessarily cocky. Second, the fight scene seems to be a bit slow and not so fluent.
Got recommended to me by a friend, thought it would be crappy, cringe and have terrible editing, I was proved very wrong, I love Jason Todd and this did him justice, amazing.

Excellent short film! May I suggest adding in more sound effects to the fights however, they seemed a bit bland without them. And the fights themselves were a little slow, possibly from a lack of choreography, maybe practice a little more. Other than that it was fantastic! Great cinematography
