Hello George. Its so nice of you to take us to a video tour of street life of this ancient Venetian city. It was quite an outing for me to watch the classic architecture of Venice that is shot first hand by a grey haired George Souls partially visible in the reflection of shop windows from 2.05 to 2.14. Venice is an old city with old architecture but new generation of tourists except George who must be here in his prime youth, as well. The oar powered gondolas, motorboats and tourist boats add stymieing rhythm to the tranquil ambiance of this sleepy city located in the bosom of an inland bay of the Adriatic sea. Venice holds a special aura of medieval times where raconnataires would spell out magical tales of kings and knights, victories and defeats and love and tragedy. I remember the famous drama of William Shakespeare, "The merchant of Venice" with all its taste of rapacious greed and guile of Shylock and the clever overtures of Portia in saving the skin of venerated merchant Antonio. I was in Venice many times . It's my one favorite city. I always visit it again and again when i go to Northern Italy. Venice is beautiful!
