Having a few eclipse discs in the bag is great at dusk. The residual sunlight has proven to be enough, even without a uv flashlight, to have charged them enough for the rest of my evening round.
honestly love myvp glow disc threw one into a pond during a glow round and came back to the pond and it was still glowing so I went into the pond and grabbed it.
Great video, I don't throw any Innova plastic but I'm glad they decided to upgrade their glow so I don't have to spend time helping card mates find their glow rocs
Same, I want to see all brands improve their glow, so I don’t have to help my cards mates search for invisible discs at night haha. Innova was the worst for a long time.
Well damn done! I bought an eclipse 2.0 Lift and a UV light for charging it based on this video. It is so bright it hurts my eyes. It is also a beefcake. It throws about like a stable Thunderbird here in Denver. I can barely throw it backhand but the forehand flex is very nice.
Yeah they are on the slight overstable side compared to a stock run neutron or proton plastic. The new eclipse crave coming out should be a nice neutral flyer!
Best color at dusk is innova star green or yellow plastic. It doesnt glow obviously but it sure does pop in low light. Might as well be glowing. In the dark though nothing beats mvp
Thank you for this awesome video. was hoping that Innova had really made some improvements. An aside, I'm partially color blind and can't match up the legend with the lines. Any chance of putting the name on the actual line at the left most of the charts? Thanks again for sharing.
Wow that is a great point I didn’t think of. On future glow videos I’ll be sure to add text to clearly mark the lines besides just the colors. If you follow my Facebook page, I’ll probably post the charts there in a few days.
It’s in our 2023 glow comparison video, go to our videos, it’s only a few back from this one. Kasta is far from its glory days sadly, not very good anymore :(
@@TKDiscGolf True that... I bought mine pretty late in the year and this new year is so new, mindgames with myself ;) It's still good though, shines fine after hours in darkness. Compared to old Innova and my PA3 Archer 3 400 Glow its another world xD
Agree on the glow aspect. But innova color glow feels great! I wonder how the new plastic feels in comparison, bc in a majority of rounds the glow isn’t required.
@@notbulbous42i just snagged a protoglow valkyrie. Its extra nice. I dont really play glow rounds but champ/star glow have always been the best feeling plastic to me.
Nice to see the competition picking up. Having many brands with actually useable glow would be awesome.
On today's episode of Taylor Knows Glow
Someone’s gotta do it haha
Excellent video, and answers a lot of the questions I've had about the new Proto Glow and how it compares to the strongest glow plastic in the game!
Great work! Really love your comparisons. Thanks so much.
Thanks Dan!!
Finally a man that uses data to settle disc disputes instead of feelings or brand loyalty.
I love you.
I love him more

@@TKDiscGolf have you tried the Eclipse Pilot? I want a glow putt and approach.

The Okabe color scheme is a good option for our color challenged friends.
One thing I am curious about is how the '23 Kastaplast stacks up, it seems to be a step down vs earlier years, looking forward to the big test ^^

My eclipse wave has kept glow for 6 hours before😂
Yup, they don’t stop lol.
WHERES TYLER
The current internet conspiracy in the disc golf realm, is that Tyler doesn’t exist and I have multiple personalities disorder.
Prior to the proto glow, i am really amazed innova even allowed their glow to be released to the public. It's so unusable, theres no purpose of it.
It really was worthless lol
