Absolutely overjoyed to see Tomasi's Green Lantern Corps finally getting an omnibus. It was one of my favourite series back in the day and the trade paperbacks are...well they're getting a little old and worn at this point.
Just got his Batman & Robin omnibus! What got me into his work was Arkham Knight book, one of my absolute favorite writers and so happy one of my favorite channels interviewed one of my favorite authors 🎉

He and Pat were the first creators I met at my first con because of how important their Batman and Robin was to me. I can't wait to see him again someday. As an editor and writer, he's one of the best, and is worthy of far more accolades than he receives

I was looking out for you while I was there Omar! Got Tomasi to sign my #1s for Supersons and Superman. Also met and got some stuff signed by Raimi! Talked with Tomasi about all of his upcoming and newly released omnis I’m going to buy. He was a super nice guy. Told me about the Mongul stuff from years ago that he got into the GLC omni too lol.
What a top tier interview. Mr. Tomasi has a real passion for comics. I would love to get a look at his collections. I wish he had a rich history in Marvel like an Avengers/Fantastic Four cosmic arc or something street level for Punisher or Daredevil.

Love Peter Tomasi, for my money DC's most underrated writer for the past 20 years. Would be great to see deluxe editions of his Nightwing and Outsiders runs, those were aces. Black Adam would be cool too, honestly surprised we didn't get a DE last year with the movie.
Great interview, love how Tomasi has a pulse on collected editions, and wants to be hands on with them, unlike some creators who are clueless. You asked exactly what we where curious about, those new omnis, and what else he's worked on. I have to do him credit and go look up some of his other work now
I always hate it when they skip issues in these creator centric omnis. Supplemental material is just bonus content/fluff for me. I'd much prefer issues instead.
The fact this talented creator doesn't have a steady, adequately paid job at DC tells you all, but really all, you need to know about why dc comics is in the pitiful state it is. Tomasi and Dan Abnett (Abnett outside of the UK, because here his skills are widely esteemed) are the most underrated comic book writers at the moment. A lobotomised Tomasi would still be a more competent writer than 90% of Marvel and DC current writers.
I hope he returns to Superman one day. Man he nailed it.

I don’t normally watch the interviews but I liked this one. Peter was looking and sounding a bit like Doc Ock from Spider-Man 2.

You said triple dip and I thought of Donny Cates Venom. I got the TPBs, oversized HCs, and the omnibus. Some of are crazy.
