Nothing wrong with that Sunday long run workout. It’s tough running fast in the Colorado cold & altitude with the legs seemingly never warming up. But you are building grit & toughness even if you don’t always hit goal pace

    1. That is a very large herd of elk. Do you ever hear them bugling?
    2. What is that purple hooded shirt? It looks like the dream.
I'm here to provide the really important, pressing questions. :)

I do hear them bugling. I love it!
The purple hooded shirt is a lululemon hooded balaclava long sleeve. Which they apparently don't make anymore but it by far my favorite thing. Should have bought like 6!

Interesting discussion on the shoes. Awesome that you figured out the hamstring issue! I can't afford to buy new trail/running shoes so I'm on the hunt to find a good 2nd hand sporting goods store; maybe I'll have some luck. I recall that 4mm or even lower worked well for my challenged body. Curious; if you're running west on that one path segment, I wonder if the brewery would be a good place to have a 'vehicle aid station' . I've always wanted to ask them if I could leave a car there for a bit while on the path. Maybe I should promise to buy a beer when I'm done :) Really enjoying these videos, thank you!

I would think you could probably park there (if you asked) or maybe the fair grounds? That could probably be a good option.
