What a nightmarish scenario, having your wounds instantly healed by nanobots but none of the pain managed. Just a brutal scene. Great episode as always!
Just a thought - If you need to bash trough something like a door or whatever planks are plentiful, totally disposable and do more damage than either your makeshift crowbar or hammer. Planks don't make good weapons, but for smashing things they're great. Less damage to tools that you want to keep. I do applaud the making and using of lockpicks, though, great for night looting. Great series so far.
Good thought. I also hope to come across a steel chain at some point (or a halligan bar if the cataclysm graces us) for bashing. With the sheer ammount of resources we have I didnt mind wastinf 1 or 2 pipes on bashing faster. But I probably shouldn't waste pipes.
God, I can already tell this series is going to drive me up the wall I lost track of how many times I got excited when I saw the Bell icon in the corner light up with new uploads
Ohhh, I did not know about that recipe. Fortunately we still have the supplies (nearly limitless, except for long sticks specifically). I'll check that recipe out next episode.
Imagine if the Z'ds could world war Z up the levels Crushing the ones underneath to reach the higher levels. scary scary. Also for Aiden's consciousness. He's a nerd so he'd know its not him doing the killing, its the deceleration against the wall AKSHUALLY
Psionic powers don't kill. Physics does. Yeah we wont get WWZ climbing but with 'horde strength' there is definitely enough they can tear the building down if I'm not careful
@ Yes I kind of did. I don’t always get to watch your content live. But It’s always fun. And it’s got to be a cost of living issue for you to make content. As well as a work life balance. I have watched your channel for the last 2 years at least. It’s been a blast, and your commentary feels real. If you’re working on your RUclips channel & career. Then I want to support that.
@@brucepalmer8846 I have a real job besides this, its definitely a hobby. But any money I do get goes back into the channel, via new games and other such things that let me do more content! So its appreciated!! And yeah, I wanna make this a long-term thing and maybe one day my primary thing.
Very fun series. God I wish someone would add in some more early game traps that aren't stupiddddddd. I feel like there should be half a dozen more explosives and more things involving blades and stuff.
I think like tripwire blade traps (that are one use) or nail traps that break after use would be a good addition. So much of CDDA is simulation of how it would work it real life, not a game, so seeing anything unlimited is very weird.
@@AreimaYT Absolutely. I know a lot of people swear by pits and I will too but Aidan is kind of in a bad situation lmao. I'll brainstorm and see about PRing something in at some point soon but coming up with traps that aren't just bombs is admittedly a little hard. Anyway keep up the good stuff.
@user-xg4ey7km4m personally I'd love to see traps expanded to a home-alone level, from primitive to complex. I know I have seen tripwire guns and pungi pits, but if you just look up real life primitive traps there are so many more options! (Plus the infinite durability is still weird)
A few thoughts about your situation: I know you have found both access pipe fittings and metal pipes which you could use to make a pipe mace or a long metal pipe staff. Pipe has great bash and the staff is a great defensive weapon. Also, if you find a water heater in your apt you will have plenty of water to clean/drink. Basement or roof? Hope this helps. Enjoying the campaign. Thanks
Pipe mace with 7 strength and low stamina (with extra stamina cost from Psionics) is sort of a bad idea? It can very easily get me killed because 1-2 blows won't kill like normal, and then I'm out of stamina to use force push. Also yeah, thats a great tip! As I mentioned in the first video though, we already checked the roof and multiple rooms, which means the water heaters are in the basement. Which is kinda off-limits atm, because the entrance is on the far side of the 1st floor. Good tips though! I am pretty experienced with CDDA, but I hear new advice all the time, so don't get discouraged for future tips!~

Yeah the real life feel of that would be awful. Can almost imagine the nanobots knitting you back together is just as painful.
A spear and chain fence can make for great clearing potential for lower strength aggressors.

Favorite CDDA series are back, not sleeping to watch fast!

Oh, thank you. I wasn't sure where that comment was going at first Lol
@@AreimaYT lol
What can I say?
Next to Rycon and Wormgirl you're the third person I've run across that tells a very interesting story with this game
If you turned the brazier on you could have made a fire-hardened wooden spear which only takes 45 min to craft.

Also I see you are still answering comments try to sleep some tn

Well you keep bringing the great content. I figured it hi time to help you. Just joined your patron group. All my best into the new years journey!😊

Super excited to watch what happens next. Really enjoy your 2 episode. Cheers 👍.

You can just attract the zombies to the 2nd floor and make them fall down the empty interspace by positioning yourself cleverly.
That will work until it doesn't.
WOO PEAK NERD HOURS WOO
What is the version of UDP you are using? I've been having trouble finding a complete version for 0.G
I don't know what UDP stands for, but we are using experimental 0.H release candidate via the Catapult launcher. For more info check out episode 0!
