Yeah. Unfortunately I was to young to even know of this games existence. I wasn’t even 10 when this video came out. It’s really depressing that I never got the opportunity to play these games when they come out. I’m going to try my best to enjoy what games I can still play now with value before I can’t play them much anymore.
It’s not too terrible, it still feels like battlefield, minus the retarded characters, if they weren’t in the game it would be better, despite some of the lag with the 128 player server it is still pretty playable for people with lower end pc’s if the servers were a bit better I’d give it more props

Near the end you discover the person who got shot is still alive, and you get three choices: Save Hannah, Save Irish, let the Carrier with the HVP die.
Unpopular oppinion here: I actually enjoyed the campaign. Sure it wasn't as michaelbayish as the modern warfare series, but it was still a very solid story. It felt more like a bourne-meets-the-hurt-locker thing and if you still want dramatic impact, SPOILER ALERT the freakin nuke Paris. Freakin paris. I'm just sorry they almost completely left out Dima in BF4 when there was so much more potential to that character, as if changing the actor wasn't enough. Also, the aerial combat sequence was pretty awesome.
I also found that the soldiers that you fight with in Bf3 looked more like real american soldiers. In other games in COD for example the soldiers look fake and there uniforms are nothing like the ones in real life. I also found it realistic to have a mortar sequence.
I liked the campaign on Battlefield 3 too. I mean, sure it's not as immersive as COD, but the story has some scenes that hit in the feels. Also, the background music just beautifully fit these scenes, I love it!
Ali Haidar The campaign is more immersive than Cod Modern warfare and Cod Modern warfare 2. Because Bf3s campaign wasn't crazy like theirs. It was more grounded in reality. They showed terrorists. Who actually capture you then kill you. The soldiers in BF3 are very real looking if you have ever looked at real pictures of American soldiers in Iraq. Where as in COD the american soldiers dont have any sort of formal clothing which breaks the immersion for me.

I came into it expecting something as good as Battlefield 2, only to find a game with *less* features. Yeah, BF3 had a campaign, and BF2 didn't. But BF2 had local multiplayer over LAN, with support for computer controlled players, and in a game like this, I'd rather have that.

I said it before and I'll say it again. You used the intro part of BF3's theme and that was unfair. Later on, the melody is clear. In addition, I say that the original theme is a boring thing. And the trumpets sound as if they were crying! FFS, the original game is about winning, the soundtrack is the complete opposite of that! Although, it fits the era 100%.
Also, I had the PS3 version of the game pre-ordered. I've been playing the game since 4 days before its official release date. There were no game crashes and no other problems with it. Also, the parts which look ugly on this version also look ugly on PC. Not saying that it's the same, but it's not the consoles' fault, it's just DICE not paying attention. Oh, BTW, I don't understand your frustration about the red laser and the flashlight on the weapons! They do what they are supposed to do! I actually didn't like this game. I had high hopes because bad company 2 was good. But oh well.
I came into it expecting something as good as Battlefield 2, only to find a game with *less* features. Yeah, BF3 had a campaign, and BF2 didn't. But BF2 had local multiplayer over LAN, with support for computer controlled players, and in a game like this, I'd rather have that.

bf4 is full of player just playing it from day one and wrecking everyone just beacuse they have:
1.a better weapon
2.better attachments than yours
3.they know exctly the spots to kill you on every maps
4.If the first 3 are not , they are cheating (wallhack , one shot , unlimitd ammo &life , ect.)

I liked BF3&4's campaigns, my only complaint is the short lengths.
My complaint is the character in bf3 and 4 they are voice acted well but have personalities of a dog shit pile.

I'm pretty sure if Cod and BF don't clean up there act and release good finished games that people will go back to the old. Personally bf3 and mw3 were my go tos for multi-player. And if there was still a big player base I'd still play them. Unlimited fun back then..

infamousian123 Close Quarters DLC is exactly the atmosphere you are looking for. One of the maps is that house I believe.

Hugh J. Cawk It is but not EXACTLY the same, I am thinking of the like Kaffarov's entire compound, that would be amazing. Imagine Rush on that map starting from the beginning of the mission where you parachuted and all the wat to end underground in a secret training building.

I was so lucky my dad was also a battlefield fan and he got me this for my 11th birthday. I am so sad that my favourite series is probably gonna die, and never reach this potential again.

Battlefield 3 is my 1st battlefield game i played and the only Battlefield i really really enjoyed
I said it before and I'll say it again. You used the intro part of BF3's theme and that was unfair. Later on, the melody is clear.
In addition, I say that the original theme is a boring thing. And the trumpets sound as if they were crying! FFS, the original game is about winning, the soundtrack is the complete opposite of that! Although, it fits the era 100%.
Also, I had the PS3 version of the game pre-ordered. I've been playing the game since 4 days before its official release date. There were no game crashes and no other problems with it. Also, the parts which look ugly on this version also look ugly on PC.
Not saying that it's the same, but it's not the consoles' fault, it's just DICE not paying attention.
Oh, BTW, I don't understand your frustration about the red laser and the flashlight on the weapons! They do what they are supposed to do! It was YOU who said that the game works as it should and that the kicking up of dust it is how it is supposed to be and critics should not complain about that, so why are you doing the opposite now?

I would say that the single player SHOULD have a say in the score as Joe says but we also know that the multiplayer is the bread and butter of these games, I think the score was fair for what the game was, great review.

I had it on PS3 & never had an issue playing with 24 players. To me this was the best BF game with BF4 a close second.
In the console versions they compacted the maps more, so the large amount of players still feels somewhat present
