►► Learn Hard Surface Modeling in Blender in Under 2 Weeks - www.blenderbros.com/accelerator?el=the_perfect_shading_trick_you_didn't_know_existed
I did know that it existed. It IS a game changer. And thank you for a terrific presentation.
I only knew this existed because I saw the technique in another video a while back. Great minds think alike.
I think we saw the same video. the old school camera one? xD
Impecable tutorial!
Very nice. I don't usually "like" but this one earned it easily.
very technical thank josh
Blender secrets channel shown before but thank you for make it in deep ❤
Wow! Very helpful. Thank you Josh! 👍
If you want to inspect the shading, use matcaps. particularly the zebras
There is a plugin that shows what you are clicking on. "I'm going to..." is a little vague. it could be much clearer by displaying your clicks.
Good explanation for the shrinkwrap ;) I usually don't bother with that tedious manual labor and just use a rounded corner shader.
Oh yeah, I know about that technique. "Christopher 3D" on Blender shown that a while back. Pretty cool.
Yep, seen that one too. Since I'm a Maya user I was quite sad. ;)
very cool
Good stuff
Can you lock the normals and then bake that to a low poly mesh As a normal map
What do you think about meshyAI?
I knew it was shrinkwrap from the start and was like "ok bro we all know this" then you drop da bomb xd
This is like the 5th video I've seen on this, youtube, fix your recommendations algorithm.
Is this what Conform Object automates?
So, a tiny bit of 3D Max in Blender, huh? Useful.
Its great but the video is too long
Don't remember this Christopher 3D video looking like this...
Very nice effect, but seems very tedious to do on multiple objects, would be great if HardOps had a quick function for applying this.
every single video you keep calling HardOps addon "a technique", and you didn't mention addon in preview, so it is useless waste of time
