- Anybody have a method for overlaying telemetry data in the video? Anyways, I fly mostly large manual drones so flying without GPS was not too bad. It does require skill and focus though.
Max speed recorded was 43mph ( I have measured slightly higher speeds via telemetry). So no this quad is not slow as some have said. I have no doubt that a fully charged lipo would yield only slightly better results, but this stands as a placeholder for my claim that this drone is not slow.
Once you turn off some of the features that were meant to detune this platform for the average user and super stable video, it really moves!
As always, thank you for watching, and if you like the video please feel free to like, share, and subscribe. - Игры
cool
Thank you!
How can I fly with GPS turned off? When I turn it off it says I can't take off because GPS is not acquired.
quick question, so I've come quite a ways with this drone now, what are some of the other things you can turn off that de-tunes the platform? (I'm assuming it's some stuff other than GPS)
Caleb Cudjoe I'll have to get out and test to tell you the correct terminology, but basically, all assistive functions disabled as well as in rabbit mode.
how far would you say youre able to go with gps off?
Hard to say with no telemetry, but Quite a ways. I stayed within line of sight and under 400 feet, but it was a pretty good distance before I brought it home.
mor battery life ? with no gps?
dadix tv yes actually. No electronic nannies or gps does give a boost to battery life.
Does it hold altitude with GPS off?
Caleb Cudjoe yea, but it drifts easily when any force (i.e. wind) acts upon it.
Thank you sooo much for your reply and the great vid. It's so much faster in manual mode! I'd love to try it when I get a day that isn't too windy
