Hi I’ve done the steps, it says it’s still downloading on my laptop, but my iPhone 11 went from the laptop with the charger logo to the apple logo, and is still unavailable while the laptop is still downloading, will reset if the laptop is done downloading or have I done something wrong?

Do you remember your Apple ID and password? Then you can log in iCloud.com in any browser and use Find My option there to remotely erase your iPhone and fix the issue.

I know it might sound like I stole the phone but I really didn’t. The phone belonged to my sister before she gave it to my auntie. She was then created an account but then she blocked the phone somehow and now I can’t access it for here. I really don’t want to jailbreak it because I know that a lot of things could go wrong if I do but I need a legitimate way to unlock it because she does really need it.
