lmfao the notation for Chick missing the notes and hitting the brackets, love it
Great transcription of a great performance
Neve knew he could play vibes 😮
Incredible! Thank you for this transcription! I’ve been listening to this video for years as Armando’s rhumba is one of my favorite jazz pieces and this transcription is perfect it has the whole song and it even has the piano at the end which I’ve been trying to figure out by ear, so genuinely thank you this is great
Speechless. Thanks for uploading!
wonderful
HOLY Frigg'in MaNoley !!! This is fantastic !! I don't know Armando's Rhumba but I'm going to hunt it down right away ! Someone want to school me on this piece ? It has a classical sound to it, is that just the vibraphone itself that makes it sound that way ? Love this video !!
It's Chick Corea's composition, written in honour of his father; there are a couple of recordings. And yes, the vibraphone sounds just like that. Check out the version from his album My Spanish Heart!
Спасибо за транскрипцию, это просто бесподобно!
What's up with your username?
Wahnsinnig.
I believe the first note on the 213th measure is a C not an Eb (4:07)
I definitely hear an Eb in the piano, it maybe you're hearing the C from the vibes?
It’s strange I really hear that D C D C G pattern on the 213th measure. My time stamp was also wrong it’s more like 4:04
Huh, now that you've said it, I do find it hard to hear, but I still think there's an Eb. Maybe my brain just fills it in cause it seems like the line should go there
