So I watched this video seeing all these strange emotional depictions and it was just such a bizarre experience as most of you can attest. The second time I watched it I realized it was depictions of models of varying kinds, probably for stock photos. My experience was so different because I externalized all the awkwardness onto the models. Then I realized whether it's a depiction of models or not there are still models (actors) making these displays for this video which did weird me out the first time. So much of what we see on our screens is pretending and yet it creates so much emotional resonance as if we're really seeing it. Weird place to gain this insight.
