The original idea behind nfts was/is beautiful; to be able to never worry about if legal documents are safe/accessible is the type of innovation that should be celebrated. Pixel art selling for excessive amounts of money should be ridiculed. As to the tech; no there is nothing innovative about Doge, Shiba, or any of the numerous knockoffs. Are the meme coins fun? Yes, they can be, but to sell the idea of them as being innovative is either delusional or criminal.

Thank you for quality programming. What you are describing here is accurate - the flight to safety to the US stock market and dollar. This is what is keeping the market going at this time and preventing a crash. This "melt UP" phase will go on for a while, then as the global economy crashes so will US markets only harder due to the "No Win scenario" that has been created by so much obscene debt. Next comes the "Default Phase" with mega-massive bankruptcies and lastly "Asset Seizures" where banks and the Fed government will simply declare an extreme national emergency to justify the crisis and debit your account directly. The fools will think that this could never happen. The actual legislation for this type of action is already in place. My advice to anyone feeling the heat in this inflation, just trade long term more than ever, I have made over 189k from day trading with Anika Hobson in few weeks, this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish..

just as a side note, sound investing is pretty heavily "Never bet it all". For this guy to put everything he has into ANYTHING, that strategy can only work for a very short time before you end up ass out. You really should only be betting with what you don't absolutely need to survive.

When coins like Doge and Shiba are still above useful coins like Polkadot, VET etc, this proves what the current cryptosociety is; people who don't care about the technology but just want to make fast money.
Why replace currency and current banking systems that work so well with something completely unnecessary like crypto that's also destroying the planet with their emissions.
Wait, this decentralised and largely unregulated market is being overrun by hucksters, shysters and quack-peddlers? 🔫Always was.
Forget them, the fact Quant and XDC are outside the top 40 and these $hitcoins are inside the top 15 shows us that we are a long way away from a utility based market.
You only need to do the bare minimum research and you would realize how much XDC is already revolutionizing the trade finance scene and it’s utilization of smart contracts.
It is basically doing what ETH couldn’t in such a short period of time and that is scalability and building the next evolution of smart contracts.
This is an extremely misguided assessment on crypto as a whole. Are there greedy actors? Yes. Are there folks looking to bet on a moonshot? Yes. But to pretend the "current cryptosociety" is made up only of people looking to "make fast money" is a lie.
Only thing it's good for is illegal transactions and that ain't a good selling point 😉

This video was slightly better than your last but you still didn't really examine the rug pulls. How about Mt Gox? You really need to have some more comments from intelligent people who recognize that crypto isn't currency and has no value. Just like the useless NFTs. Also you need to date your interviews so we can track their statements against the prices.
What value does the US dollar have? It's backed by absolutely nothing, yet people still value it. Same with Bitcoin, Doge, etc....the value is the power of the network and how people perceive it as. At least Bitcoin can't be hacked and is secured by advanced cryptography.

When bitcoin loses 66% of "value" that isn't a currency it's a speculative investment. Nothing is priced in bitcoin, it's always converted from the dollar. That leads to its volatility. If musk said a car is a coin it could settle down. But he tanked doge which was a meme. It is a meme. Also the rug pulls by Logan Paul and friends. Bitcoin could have been something but the infinite coins now make the whole thing useless and a joke. I can't believe we have Congress people talking about "investing" in it. I don't see the point in all these alternate coins. It's just useless digital alternative for the what's been existing and sort of works(?) like bitcoin and such. Scams after scams after scam coins. Just have it globally regulated as since bitcoin and be done with it if it's possible.
You can't really regulate it, that's the whole point/problem. Sure governments will try to regulate the on and offramps sooner or later, but that's at best a game of whack-a-mole and you can bet there'll be no shortage of countries that are willing to harbor "anonymous" exchanges in order to top up their sagging economies.
And there's not really much else that can be regulated. Any fool with a bit of programming knowledge can create a shitcoin and once its created its all just bits of encrypted data flowing through the tubes. The only way to intervene at that point is by breaking the encryption and well.. there's lots of people who would love to be able to do that, since it would take down not only crypto but also the https secure internet protocol, most if not all banking software, most if not all corporate security systems, etc.
Its very much like regulating personal drug use. Sure if the cops happen to catch you red-handed they can nab you specifically, but they have no way of stopping or even finding out about everyone else who might have a joint on them. They can maybe nab a dealer and get rid of an entire supply chain for a while, but sooner or later another dealer will fill the gap (a dealer being equivalent to an exchange in this analogy). And when things go international it becomes exponentially more difficult again.
I'm sure lots of governments would like to be able to curtail or at least tax crypto. They just don't really have a way to do it. A law that says "don't do that" is nothing more than words on a page without an enforcement mechanism, and so far such a mechanism is not known to be possible in the crypto space.
