Ur channel has helped me so much.
My name is lola madley and I'm 12 yrs old. I suffer with panic attacks and anxiety. Recently my great nan passed away from heart failure. And all I think now is. What if I have it?. People have reassured me many times yet I still didn't believe them. I went to the doctors not too long ago. And they said I was completely fine and Healthy and yet I still think I got it. But ur channel has genuinely saved me. You've helped me , you've made me feel like it's okay to feel these things in my body and that I'll get through it. I'm so grateful I've came across ur channel I cannot thank u enough ❤❤❤❤

This channel has been a blessing. As I type this I’m in the grips of it but I’m fighting back!
I think the worst part about all of this is how we’re all going about our days having to contemplate/think about our mortality with these illnesses. It makes me mad knowing that here I am having to battle this uncertainty with my health while the next person over is maybe eating like crap or doesn’t exercise and probably enjoying their life… it’s one of the hardest parts and it angers me in a sense… but we will prevail. All of us!

I’ve had health anxiety since my teens and I still struggle with it at 36. Sometimes I can stay on top of it and other times, like now, I feel like completely shutting down like the anxiety will just eat me up. My biggest worry is cancer. I have worried about every form of cancer that there is. I check my breasts obsessively and in my mind every sensation must mean something horrible. It doesn’t help that my anxiety causes a cold/tingling feeling in the left side of my breast/chest/arm/back. I can never really pin down where the feeling is coming from, but when anxiety amps up the sensation does too and that makes me worry which makes me more anxious and it’s a cycle that I repeat over and over again. I try to cope by trying to ignoring the anxiety and getting on with my day which is like having someone shouting your worst fears in your ear almost 24/7 and nobody else can hear or see him and I’m trying to act like nothing is wrong. It feels like a heroic act just getting through the day sometimes.

My health anxiety was triggered in December last year when I got the results of my abdomen ct. I am 64. I suddenly realized that I‘m not going to live forever .Up to that point I’ve never experienced anything like it, never had any serious illnesses in my life and never gave much thought to them. Now, 3 months later, I’m a nervous wreck, only able to get a few hours of sleep with the help of meds. Brain feels like mushed potatoes , my nervous system like a battle field, hardly able to get through the routines of the day. Thank you for your tips , they help me to understand what this hell is all about and how to overcome it.

I am SOOOO pumped that I found you and your channel. I have been having such bad Anxiety and Panic Attacks for a while now. Started in 2016 with Panic Attacks and Agoraphobia which I let rule my life for quite a few years. I finally got my life back last year stepping out of my comfort zone. I went on quite a few work trips flying around to various parts of the Country with Zero issues. Then in August, BOOM, A panic attack while on a hike in Lake Tahoe. Since then, they have become more consistant. I notice them super frequently when I know I have to drive in the car for a long time. The further I drive the worst it gets. Now, I have developed what you have confirmed as Health Anxiety. I didnt even know what that was. I stopped working out because Im now scared for my heart rate to go up, and create a panic attack all from working out. This is a new one for me seeing as growing up, I was an athlete, raced BMX for many years. i am the only person that i know that lives with this chaos. i carry it with me everywhere I go and I hide it super well. And the worst part, I cant seam to find someone to help me. I know its all in my mind and it drives me crazy because i don't want these feelings, but they just show up, literally every single day. Sorry for the long post, but it felt good to just type it out in hopes someones eyes will see this with some good advice. Fingers crossed!!

I have been struggling with anxiety since 2016, and it all started with one panic attack. I was an athlete back in my 20s and 30s, so in 2021, I managed to drag myself back to the gym. At the beginning, I used to get panic attacks in the gym due to the increased heart rate. It took me a lot of effort and pain to manage to become a regular at the gym. I worked out for two years, built good muscle mass, and those two years were the best in terms of anxiety symptoms from 2016 to 2024. They didn't completely go away, but they were manageable. Stupidly enough, I left the gym over a year ago, lost 10 kg of weight, and my anxiety symptoms have been back for the past six months. They are stronger and more aggressive, eating me up alive. I am feeling dizzy with a tight chest and short breath right now while typing this response, and what I am feeling now is the least I may feel of symptoms on a bad day, which is basically every day. I have been trying to go back to the gym with no luck. My anxiety is not letting me. But I made a decision that I have to go back and pump iron again because this was the only thing that made me feel closer to normal. This week, I am doing a last round of reassurance by checking my heart (treadmill and ultrasound), and if all is okay with my heart, I will go back to the gym and see how the results will be. I hope that what I said would inspire you to do something. May God help us all anxiety sufferers.

Most of our anxiety are caused by physical harm that happened in childhood, and now we are stuck in fear because we think that harm is still happening. The solution is to learn self-defense in order to convince the subconscious mind that I am at peace.

It’s been so hard since November for my HA, had to go through CRAZY stressful and traumatic situations. Had all this crazy symptoms like dizziness, headaches, pressure in my head, but it passed in a month or so. In my life I always had a twitch in my thumb, randomly, it happened one time and then stopped and I would continue my life normally. Then, on January I had it again but it made my whole arm feel weird for two weeks. It spreaded to the other arm and legs, this jelly feeling. Everything passed besides a tight feeling in my thumb, that I massaged one day and it passed again. Now, I have a tight feeling in my wrist, index and the thumb as well!! Also, a month ago I started having this very fast twitches, they are not repetitive, they happen once and then move to another place or just stop for some hours, I just feel them, usually I can’t see the contraction. This and the tight feeling in my hand has been driving me crazy!!! I’m only twenty years old 😢

I’m currently in this cycle, laying in bed and focusing on every ache and pain since 4:00 am. Constantly feeling my lymph nodes and swollen neck, pancreas and liver. It’s been a week of this, I’ve been working on parasympathetic breathing but totally exhausted. Constantly burping due to gut issues which feeds my anxiety. The worst part of this is I’m laying next to my wife who has terminal cancer (adenoid cystic carcinoma) and currently in hospice and I’m the caregiver. It’s getting more difficult to tend to her needs while I’m consumed with my own diagnosis of cancer or kidney failure or whatever.

I would recommend to listen breathing techniques like the "Buteyko Method" (there is a channel here in youtube with a lot of free content). Both this channel and the Buteyko method helped me to calm down and made all those chemical reactions, which cause the symptoms, to stop. Hope it help you guys!!

It's starting to melt away at long last (since mid January) because I got fed up of panicking and ate whether I felt like it or not because I need food. So although I don't have the answer, I guess what worked is just stamping out the voice that's telling you to panic (making you feel nauseous)

Prior to this, I was in an abusive relationship, then I moved on my own and got a mortgage by myself. I suppose it's chronic stress because of all I have been through. It frustrates me that I can't be as tough as others are. I am planning on taking up therapy sessions. Best of luck to you in your own journey!

Did all of your symptoms start after an edible? Anyone?

    • @MamaWattz
      @MamaWattz 11 месяцев назад +1

I feel like edibles really amplify symptoms especially because we tend to notice more things while under the influence. I really started noticing more things when I would have an edible and it just made my health anxiety so much worse. I used to use them to help me but it was making everything extreme and chaotic and I had to cut it out entirely. I’m not cured but it’s helped me so much.

I'm so sorry you're going through all this worry. It is absolutely understandable that you need some reassurance about this from your doctor. At 18 you are allowed to make an appointment and take yourself along. If need be, you can tell your parents matter-of-factly that you are still concerned and that it makes sense to you to get checked out. Then you'll be able to focus on your studies and I'm sure that's what they'd want for you along with your peace of mind.
Good luck with everything and big hugs. ❤🇨🇦

This has been so useful to know. Even on my good days I’m still checking something.
There’s also hyper-stimulation. I read on an anxiety website that symptoms can take months or years to quieten. The man who founded the website didn’t fully return to normal for 2 years, with lots of help from a doctor and focusing on all his mindful calming techniques.
