Pikmin is one of my most favorite games. The sheer creativity in the concept of the game, as well as it's beauty, makes this a stand out on the Gamecube console. It has been a long time since a character that was able to create such a loving attachment like the pikmin do. All of this plus the amazing gameplay and music, will be sure to make it go down in history (like Mario, Metroid, LoZ, Kirby, DK, and Pokemon) This was the stand-out of this performance to me :)

There was very few Pikmin music I could make out here. Also, Pikmin is meant to be played on high pitched instruments. It just doesn’t sound right on low pitched instruments. And, some parts were played descending pitched, when they should have been played ascending pitch. Overall... it’s just not what I expected. Still it is amazing and Pikmin is still my all time favorite series.
Eh. It's more of a variation. So, they made some variations of the melody include low melodies. Which, honestly, as a tubist and bassist, it made me smile! But variations sometimes pass around the melody. So, they took the melody and messed with it a little bit. I thought it was neat for that reason alone. And, maybe the low instruments are because a Wollywog started singing or something XD
@Qbuilderz I agree. The creativity of Pikmin 2 blew me away. I am obessed with the world of the small. I will go out in the backyard and set up Lego dungeons. I can't wait for pikmin 3.
Even though it has been over a decade since I've played this game, the music alone reminds me how much I loved it. Heck, it's about time I fire up the Wii and get this game going again!
@Qbuilderz It's sad, if you know what the song Aiu no Uta says and means. I always loved my pikmin and, as a little kid, i was deeply troubled by their deaths. To this day i love my Pikmin. Nintendo did a good job of making you bond with them.

This orchestra performed for Symphonic Fantasies, didn't they? =D Absolutely magnificent renditions of excellent games, both Legends and Fantasies. ^_^
Well... Even if I like this, I don't love it. Yes, a few parts were awesome, but I miss some parts that could fit perfectly to make this a great Orchestra...
@Ockzopie - No doubt Nintendo will pull through. Kid Icarus remake is already confirmed for 3DS, so I hope that Shiggy creates something TOTALLY new for me to fall in love with ^-^

Truly beautiful. Pikmin is one of my all time favorite game series, and its nice to see it get this kind of treatment.
